Today’s card shows off the Stampin’ Up! Floral Boutique Suite from the new Stampin’ Up! 2016-2017 Annual Catalog. The catalog began yesterday (June 1). You can get the the full scoop and view the catalog on-line here!
My color palette was inspired by this week’s Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge suggested by Shawn de Oliveira. See what Shawn and the rest of the PPA Design Team have created with this color combination here.
I love hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- That lovely die cut is the end result of using the new Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies. A video demonstration from Stampin’ Up! on how to use the dies is here.
- I used the coordinating Floral Phrases Stamp Set for the sentiment. The font is so classy.
- Save 10% when you purchase the Floral Phrases Stamp Set and Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies as a bundle! View and print a list of 28 new Stampin’ Up! Bundles (all at 10% off).
- New to the Stampin’ Up! ribbon line-up is Night of Navy Solid Baker’s Twine.
- The perfect polish comes from a coordinating envelope. I used the Stampin’ Up! Envelope Punch Board and one of the crisp Night of Navy and Whisper White patterns from Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper.
- Hover and Pin it! The photo above shows key products for today’s Floral Boutique thank you card that you can save or pin to Pinterest. Gorgeous! This card is so dramatic and eye catching, it draws you in. Plus the added envelope you made really seals the deal! Lovely, Mary!
I love the way you’ve used these dies. Simple elegance. I didn’t think I wanted that collection until I saw this.
Absolutely gorgeous, Mary! I can hardly wait to receive mine and let the play begin!!
Be still my heart! This is such a gorgeous card, Mary!
Beautiful Mary, and just how I thought this set should be, it’s so great on it’s own it doesn’t need much, you did it up perfect!
Oh my goodness, Mary, this is beautiful! Love, love, love!!
So jealous you got to touch the dies early but happy for you too…love the card…so soft and detailed!
Mary this was my favorite suite in the catty. I knocked my socks off. I am so excited that it is on its way to me. I chose the sprint route rather than the marathon!
Gorgeous! So glad someone used it in the challenge this week. TFS!
Love the card. At first when I saw the Floral Boutique suite, I really did not like it, but the more I see cards make with this bundle, I really like it, along with the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper.. Definitely going to be getting this bundle.
Wasn’t going to get this die……..BUT…..THANKS (I think) for inspiring me! FANTASTIC card my friend.
Omg MsMary, that is soooo, beautiful, loving it , mine is on its way , yayyyyyy
Tfs,
And yes you are, OUR ENABLER , every time , lol,
But it’s a good thing ,
Hugs Frenchie
Mary! You do this to me every time. When I placed my order yesterday I debated about getting this bundle and then went with another choice (It’s a marathon not a sprint, right?). I open my computer today to the prettiest card! This will definitely be on my NEXT order! Glad I have you to taunt me with my bad choices! Haha! Blessings.
Just call me your paper crafting “enabler,” Judy!
Simply stunning! This suite is my new catalog fav!!!
My favorite suite, too, Janet.
Hi Amy: Thank you for your comment. The Fine-Tip Glue pen will work for those skinny bits on the die cut. I used Snail, lightly hitting spots on the back of the die cut strategically. I have to do a little “clean-up” of any adhesive that shows throw but it works for me. M
Beautiful card and a color combination I would never have thought of! What is the best way of adhering the delicate paper to the base card? Looks like it might be a little tricky.
Thank you for posting!
Hi Cindy: What a wonderful comment to wake up to. Thank you for that bit of background. The dies are brand new. M
I love to make cards for my staff to let them know how wonderful they are I had seen some stamps that stated super.
