Product Focus: Stampin’ Up! 1″ Square Punch

Stampin up summer smooches square punch simply scored scoring tool diagonal plate envelope
Punches are my most adored paper crafting tool.  The quick and perfect shapes they produce are marvelous for creating patterns.  I saw a really interesting card at the Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Leadership Conference that inspired me to create the pattern on today’s card using the 1″ Square Punch.

Stampin up summer smooches square punch simply scored scoring tool diagonal plate envelope 2I whipped up a coordinating Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper envelope with my Stampin’ Up! Simply Scored Scoring Tool and Diagonal Plate.  Here’s my formula for creating an envelope that accommodates today’s 5″ x 3 1/2″ notecard:

  • Cut designer series paper (I used Summer Smooches) to 6 3/4″ square.
  • Using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool and Diagonal Plate, score two  lines on the designer series paper on opposite sides at 2 5/8″ and score two lines at  3 3/4″ for the remaining 2 opposite sides.  Watch this Stampin’ Up! Video for more tips.

  • Simplicity rules!  You could recreate this design with any of Stampin’ Up!’s coordinating designer series paper choices!
  • The Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper and Fabric Designer Brad (center of pattern) are available for purchase now through April 30.  The designer paper will carry into the new Stampin’ Up! 2012-2013 Catalog.  However, the Fabric Designer Brads are only available as part of the current Summer Smooches Offer.
