Ready to dazzle a recipient with this Like an Animal thank you card? I’m simply wild about the yummy mix of shiny gold animal print and Sweet Sorbet.
WHAT I LOVE! Aside from the darling patterns of the Like an Animal Specialty Designer Series Paper, I used the Something Fancy Bundle, one of My Favorite Things. It’s an absolute “must-have” bundle (save 10%) for every day sentiments and essential dies.
NEED SKETCH INSPIRATION? The layout of today’s thank you card was inspired by the newest addition to my Stampin’ Pretty Sketchbook, Sketch #63, which I shared on Tuesday!

PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Begin by burnishing the fold of the card base with a Bone Folder.
Layer and adhere the following together and to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue: Sweet Sorbet, Gold Foil, and Vellum.
Adhere the DSP and Sweet Sorbet layers together with Stampin’ Seal.
Use a Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment in Sweet Sorbet Classic Ink as shown onto the Basic White layer.
Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the smallest scalloped tag and ribbon hole from the Something Fancy dies.
Crop the Vellum Layer with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the largest scalloped tag from the Something Fancy dies.
Adhere the two tags together (not by the ribbon hole) with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Wrap the ribbon around the layer as shown, then through the tag hole, securing with a bow.
Adhere the tag in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere the entire layer to the card as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) to crop the Sweet Sorbet and Gold Foil with the tulip tag end from the Something Fancy dies.
Adhere the die-cuts as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
PERFECT POLISH! Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Designer Series Paper to the outside flap of a Basic White Medium Envelope. You can see my video demonstration with tips on adding designer paper to an envelope flap here.
