Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Seasons’ Greetings. This month’s design team members showcase projects inspired by their favorite seasonal time of the year. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
My card and coordinating gift tag showcase my favorite season of Christmas! 1/4 inch strips of four different colors in varying lengths set the canvas for these bright and cheery holiday creations.
MY FAVORITE THINGS! The card and gift tag use the Spruced Up Bundle, one of My Favorite Things from the Holiday Mini Catalog.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:
CARD:
Begin with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base of Basic White card stock.
Adhere 1/4″ strips of varying lengths (1-1/4″ – 3″) to a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Basic White card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Stamparatus to stamp the small tree in Garden Green Classic Ink onto a piece of Basic White card stock.
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Spruced Up Outlines Dies to crop the following:
- Garden Green Stamped Tree (set aside the stamped image for the tag)
- Large Tree of Basic White
Use a Stamparatus to stamp the sentiments in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Basic Black card sock.
Cover with white Basic Embossing Powder. Set with a Heat Tool.
Trim to size with a Paper Trimmer or Paper Snips.
Set the two tree outline die-cuts onto the card as shown.
Adhere the sentiments over the die-cuts with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Tie a bow of white Baker’s Twine Essentials and adhere tucked under the sentiment with a Mini Glue Dot.
Embellish with white Adhesive-Baked Seasonal Sequins.
TAG:
Adhere 1/4″ strips of varying lengths (1-1/8″ – 1-3/4″) to a 2 1/4 x 4 1/4 piece of Basic White card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Crop it with the largest Tailor Made Tags die, as well as a 2nd piece of Basic White card stock with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini).
Use a Stamparatus to stamp the sentiments in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Basic Black card sock.
Cover with white Basic Embossing Powder. Set with a Heat Tool.
Trim to size with a Paper Trimmer or Paper Snips.
Adhere the stamped tree and sentiments to the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals as shown.
Use a Stamparatus to stamp the “To:, From:” sentiment on the 2nd Basic White tag.
Thread Real Red & Garden Green 3/8″ Ribbon through the holes at the top of tag, securing with a loop.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with white Adhesive-Baked Seasonal Sequins.
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created!
Please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on September 14th. Our theme will be Focus on the Sentiment, when the design team will showcase a sentiment as the focal point of their project. Until then, have fun in your craft space.
