BEAUTIFUL SUNSET SCENE! The all-new Grassy Grove Bundle from the Stampin’ Up! 2022 January – June Mini Catalog sets the stage for this beautiful thank you card. Use Blending Brushes to add some color (Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze Classic Inks) to a piece of Shimmery White card stock and you have a beautiful backdrop for a silhouette scene. 

GRASSY GROVE BUNDLE! Create a forest grove with the Grassy Grove Bundle. Mix and match the stamp images and die-cut elements to create a layered natural setting.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:

Begin with a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card base of Basic Black card stock. 

Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine along with the largest Stitched Rectangle Die to crop two pieces of Shimmery White card stock. 

With Blending Brushes, apply the following Classic Inks (top to bottom): Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze to both pieces. 

 

Use a Paper Trimmer to cut a Stitched Rectangle in half. 

Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere each half to the card base 1/8″ down from the edge.

Create this card using the Grassy Grove Bundle from Stampin' Up! Thank You Card by Mary Fish, Stampin' Pretty

Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to crop a 5 1/4 x 3 3/4 piece of Basic Black card stock with the largest Grove die. 

Adhere to the 2nd Stitched Rectangle die-cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals

Adhere to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Use a Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Basic Black card stock.  

Cover with White Basic Embossing Powder. Set with a Heat Tool.

Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Messages Die. 

Adhere a bow of White Baker’s Twine (Essentials Pack) to the die-cut with a Mini Glue Dot

Adhere the card as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals

Crop the two deer (Basic Black card stock) using a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Grove Dies.

Adhere as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue

  1. I’m not sure what you do with the 1st rectangle cropped piece that’s cut in 2 pieces. It probably has something to do with how you attach the front to the base of the card??? Anyway, is there a way I could see the inside of the card? If possible, I would really appreciate it, as I would love to duplicate this card 🙂
