Today’s “thinking of you” sympathy card uses the Stampin’ Up! Friendship’s Sweetest Thoughts stamp set in a very simple, neutral way. The pearls are the perfect personality for the flower centers.

Friendship’s Sweetest Thoughts is such a charming set of stamps and sentiments!
STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:
For the standard A2 card base, cut Crumb Cake card stock with a Stampin’ Trimmer to 4 1/4″ x 11 and score/fold the short distance at 5 1/2″.
Stamp flower cart in Versamark Ink on a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Crumb Cake card stock. Heat emboss with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
Add four pearls (Pearl Basic Jewels) to flower centers. Adhere layer to the Crumb Cake card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Cut Thick Whisper White card stock to 3 1/8″ x 4 5/8″. Crop a window as shown using the rectangle die from the Sliding door Framelits Dies.

Stamp the “thinking of you” sentiment in Crumb Cake as shown. Wrap Linen Thread around the window twice and tie in a bow.
Adhere window using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals slightly off center (to the left) of the flower cart. This gives an artful flair and feeling of movement.

I absolutely love the white on the neutral background
Fabulous to hear! Thanks, Robbye, for stopping by!
Oh, Mary I just love this one too. Very different and unique. I put it on my list!!
🙂
Ohh!! I love the look of white embossing on Kraft card stock, just gorgeous!!!
These delicate images pack a punch, lovely way to frame this one.
The twine is just the sweetest finishing touch.
Thank you for sharing, Mary.
XO
Maria.
You say the sweetest things, Maria!
GREAT card! I like the crumb cake and white together. Thanks
Neutrals are always classic, aren’t they, Jeannine!
I love the monochromatic look of your card, Mary – and that window is perfect with this sweet set. Love it!
Thanks, BK. I’m always nutty buttons over neutrals!
Sweet card!
I absolutely cannot visualize how you cut out your rectangle with that die, though? The one edge at the bottom leaves no border, and the top edge cuts tabs. This is a tough one for me.
Lovely card!
Maybe I “have it,” now? Center die over the c/s panel and stop rolling the die through the Big Shot when it reaches the top edge of the rectangle. Anyway… TFS!
Thanks for your comment, Donna. You layer the rectangle die over the upper portion of the White card stock and run all the way through (no stopping needed).
I used the rectangle from the Barn Door/Sliding door Framelits Dies vs. Lots to Love Box. I’ll be correcting. Sorry for the confusion!
Mary, this is sheer Perfection! I would have to say clean and simple at its very Best. So easy, yet so effective at the same time! Adding the dimensionals, the embossing and that sweet linen bow give this card that special “pop”~ Hugs
Thanks, Roberta. Simple in concept with a nice WOW! factor!
BRILLIANT use of the box die. This card is just stunning!
Thanks, Kadie. I’m hoping we get more rectangles in the future!
