Pals Blog Hop: CASE the Catalog with Wonderful Thoughts!

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, the theme is CASE the Catalog. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Create this hello card using the Wonderful Thoughts Bundle from Stampin' Up! CASE the Catalog card by Mary Fish, Stampin Pretty

I chose to CASE (Copy and Share with Everyone) the card below using the Wonderful Thoughts Bundle. You can find it on page 41 of the Stampin’ Up! 2023-2024 Annual Catalog.

WHAT I LOVE! Night of Navy looks so crisp with white and soft pops of color. However, the star of the show is the die cut background. Those five “rectangles” were cut and embossed with a label die from the Wonderful Thoughts Dies collection.

PROJECT TUTORIAL:

Burnish the folds of the Night of Navy card base with a Bone Folder.

Zip the Basic White layer through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) tucked inside the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.

Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, the Night of Navy layer, and the Wonderful Thoughts 2 7/8 x 5/8 label die to crop five labels.

Adhere to the card as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Rub a portion of the remaining Night of Navy layer with an Embossing Buddy (Embossing Additions Tool Kit).

Stamp the sentiment (Wonderful Thoughts) in Versamark Ink, cover with white Basics Embossing Powder, set with a Heat Tool.

Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the coordinating Wonderful Thoughts die.

Adhere as shown with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.

Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) to crop the Basic White with the flower from the Wonderful Thoughts Dies.

Color with the following Stampin’ Blends: Dark Melon Mambo, Dark Lemon Lolly, and Dark Granny Apple Green.

Tie a bow of white Baker’s Twine Essentials and adhere it to the card with a Mini Glue Dot.

POP OF PERSONALITY!  Embellish with white Classic Matte Dots.

PERFECT POLISH!  Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Designer Series Paper to the outside flap of a Basic White Medium Envelope.  You can see my video demonstration with tips on adding designer paper to an envelope flap here.
