I have a 4″ x 4″ friend card for you today with a sneak peek of the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Peacock Photopolymer Stamp Set. This stamp set will one of the FREE gift options during Sale-A-Bration with a $50 product order. Sale-A-Bration begins Jan. 3, at the same time the Occasions Catalog begins.
I love hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- I stamped (Island Indigo) and paper snipped the body of the peacock and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the “feather” background (Lemon Lime Twist).
- Layered scallop circles add a flirty charm. I used Stampin’ Up! Layering Circle Framelits Dies (a die cutting essential), a Big Shot and a Magnetic Platform (for cropping the image).
- I think the most fun was randomly adding the tiny flower stamp in the flourish.
- Yummy Lemon Lime Twist 1/4″ Ombre Ribbon is the perfect touch!

Beautiful card. The colors all work so well together
What is the base card colour. ?
Thanks, Carmel, for your kind comment. The base color is Bermuda Bay.
Love the design. Did you make an envelope for the card?
I haven’t made an envelope yet, Janet. However, it would be easy to do (and the perfect size) using the Stampin’ Up! Envelope Punch Board (love it). A pretty choice would be Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper in Lemon Lime twist!
Beautiful!!!
Thanks for leaving a comment, Nancy. That really makes me smile!
great card. love that stamp set cant wait for the catalog. inspiring.
I love this card. What are your measurements? I have this stamp set.
Thanks, Andrea. The card base is 4 x 4 and each layer on top is 1/4″ smaller in each direction than the previous layer. Is that helpful?
This is gorgeous, Mary! I love this mix of colors and how you showcased the flourish beneath the focal panel. Love!
Thanks, BK. I love all the possibilities for color combinations as well as the images!
This card is so beautiful! I love the new stamp set. The peacock is so feminine, so fancy looking… I cannot explain why but she just looks so regal looking!
Blessings! Lisa
Thanks, Lisa . . . I knew when I saw the peacock that I had to have her (or him)? She’s modern and cool, fun to stamp and the flourishes add so much versatility to the set!
This card caught my eye right away! Very, very nice.
Sweet words like yours make it even more fun to create, Barb!
Adorbs and I love the color combo. Maybe add a little Elegant Eggplant with your color combo. This little peacock is adorable and a must have!
This would be lovely with a dash or even a range of purples! Thanks for the suggestion, Traci.
Love it! I can think of so many ways to use this set…super versatile!
Agreed, Donna. The flourishes can double as feathers and more!
Beautiful card Mary, love the colors.
I cherish my comments, Karen. Thank you.
Wonderful design, Mary, and I love the colors you chose!
Thanks, Debi. I can’t wait to try some non-traditional peacock colors, too!
Darling little friend card. LOVE the color combination you used my friend.
Thanks, Kadie, for your daily kindness and friendship!
This is simply gorgeous. I love the colors you chose for this card.
Thanks, Robbye. Your kind comments make my day!
Ooooh! Gorgeous stamp set and your design is wonderful! I love these peeks because I don’t think about all the money I’ve spent for Christmas…I just dream about Sale-A-Bration and the next catalog!
I can’t wait for the Christmas holiday and just finished decorating the house. However, my paper crafting has moved to the next season of products! I LOVE new stuff.
Oh my gosh that is a cute card!
Thanks, Kathy. I appreciate your comment and am thrilled you like the card (and new Sale-A-Bration stamp set).
What a darling card. You did such an awesome job with this lovely stamp set. The colours are awesome too.
Thanks, Beth. I’m thinking I’ll heat emboss (black and silver, perhaps) next time. Lots of possibilities.
