Celebrate the Arrival of Picture Perfect Stamp Set

Learn how to create this simple birthday card using Stampin Up Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set - Created by Mary Fish StampinUp

Today’s birthday card shows off the splashy colors, modern patterns and fun stamp images of the Picture Perfect product suite.  The Picture Perfect products will be available when the Occasions Catalog begins Jan. 3.

I love hearing from you!  Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • Thank goodness for photopolymer stamps!  The transparent nature of the Picture Perfect Photopolymer Stamp Set made it easy to stamp each candle and flame.

  • I used the Stampin’ Up! Stamparatus stamp positioning tool to layer the sentiment perfectly over the candles.  Here’s more information on the Stamparatus as well as how to reserve one.  The reservation window closes Dec. 30.
  • I’m fortunate to have my hands on the Stamparatus early and will share a 1 Minute to WOW! video tomorrow with tips for adding the sentiment over the candles on today’s birthday card.  Update:  Here’s the 1 Minute to WOW! video!

  • The largest of the circles in the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies adds a die cut border around the candles and sentiment.  The Big Shot Magnetic Platform keeps the die in place over the candles/sentiment during the journey through the Big Shot.

  • The stripe (card) and dot (envelope) are patterns from Picture Perfect Party 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.  Available Jan. 3.

  • Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon was adhered to the back of the circle and sentiment.  It adds a cool visual effect.  Tutti-Frutti Adhesive-Backed Sequins (available Jan. 3) provide some “party” personality!
  • Here’s a previously shared birthday card I created using products from the Picture Perfect product suite.  Original details and product list here.

  1. The card is adorable Mary. I’ll definitely be adding this suite to my “must have” list. BTW, the Absorber is available at Walmart in the auto department.

  2. Happy to help, Bridget and Vicky. They are listed on the original post as well.

Amazon Bar Magnets (Pack of 2).  The Stamparatus comes with two bar magnets.  However, it’s nice to have these on hand in case you need a backup.  Please be careful – magnets can snap with accidental contact.
