Party ON with the NEW Balloon Adventures Photopolymer Stamp Set and coordinating Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits Dies.  Both will be available Jan. 4, when the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog begins!  Purchase them as a bundle and save 10%.12f4da1b4b5532cad6783c065c92a202

Today’s card was inspired by a “cool” color combination from my Inspired by Color board on Pinterest.  Be sure to follow my board for fresh and modern color combinations to inspire your card making.  NEW color ideas are added all the time!

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • The Confetti Embossing Folder from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog creates a festive background for the bouquet of balloons.
  • Balloons Aren’t Just for Kids! The Silver Glimmer balloons and fresh color combination give this card a bit of sophisticated “fun”.
  • The balloons are cut using the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits Dies and the Balloon Bouquet Punch.  They coordinate beautifully!  The punch also was used to create the Island Indigo layer below the detailed balloons.

  1. Absolutely love your Inkspired Color ideas! Love your creativity! Enjoy your website so very much. Thank you for sharing.

  2. Hello Mary: I don’t know if your intention was to make a masculine card but I think you did and did it beautifully. Love the awesome color combination, specially the color for the back of the balloons, that makes the glimmer paper really noticeable.
The embossing just frames the focal images perfectly, and lucky me, this embossing folder arrived on Saturday so, I’m CASEing this card, already pinned it to my Masculine Cards folder.
    Thank you for sharing.
    XO
    Maria.

  3. Beautiful birthday card Mary! Love the color combination and the way you used them to show off the balloons. Who doesn’t love balloons!!

  4. This is the PERFECT birthday card. Can only image it in all different color combinations. THANKS for sharing!
