My cards for today were inspired (CASE’d) by the amazing Brian King, (www.stampwithbrian.com) and the card he created and shared previously using the Shaded Summer Stamp Set and coordinating Summer Shadows Dies. You can see his blog post here.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:
Begin with a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 card base of Sahara Sand card stock.
Layer and adhere the following together with Stampin’ Seal and to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals:
- 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 Starry Sky 2022-2024 In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper
- 3 1/ 2 x 3 1/2 Sahara Sand card stock
- 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 Starry Sky card stock
Layer and adhere the following together with Stampin’ Seal and to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals:
- 2 x 2 Starry Sky 2022-2024 In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper
- 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 Sahara Sand card stock
- 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 Starry Sky card stock
Use a Stamparatus to stamp the image in Starry Sky Classic Ink onto a piece of Sahara Sand card stock.
Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the coordinating Summer Shadows die.
Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Tie a bow of Starry Sky 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine and secure with a Mini Glue Dot.
Use Masking Paper or similar to mask the “YOU” of the “hello you” sentiment.
Ink the sentiment in Starry Sky Classic Ink, remove the mask and use the Stamparatus to position and stamp onto a 1/2 x 1 3/8 piece of Sahara Sand card stock.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with Starry Sky 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots.
Begin with a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 card base of Sahara Sand card stock.
Layer and adhere the following together with Stampin’ Seal and to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals:
- 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 Starry Sky 2022-2024 In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper
- 3 1/ 2 x 3 1/2 Sahara Sand card stock
- 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 Starry Sky card stock
Double wrap with Starry Sky 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine and secure with a bow.
Layer and adhere the following together with Stampin’ Seal and to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals:
- 2 x 2 Starry Sky 2022-2024 In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper
- 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 Sahara Sand card stock
- 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 Starry Sky card stock
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) to crop a piece of Starry Sky card stock that has been adhered to an Adhesive Sheet with the Summer Shadows dies.
Crop a piece of Sahara Sand card stock with the coordinating Summer Shadows Dies.
Remove the adhesive backing and adhere together.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use Masking Paper or similar to mask the “friend” of the “love you, friend” sentiment.
Ink the sentiment in Starry Sky Classic Ink, remove the mask and use the Stamparatus to position and stamp unto a 1/2 x 1 1/2 piece of Sahara Sand card stock.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with Starry Sky 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots.
