Santa’s Sleigh Christmas Gift Card

I got to use some of my favorite holiday products on today’s Christmas gift card.  The key “ingredient” is the plaid reindeer cropped with the Santa’s Sleigh Framelits Dies.

I love hearing from you!  Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • A touch of Basic Black Solid Baker’s Twine dresses up the reindeer’s neck.  I didn’t realize until after the photo was taken that I had a bit of twine that went “rogue.”
  • The sentiment is from Tin of Tags Photopolymer stamp set (30% off here).

  • I added a score at 2 3/4″ to a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ card base to create the added fold.  The plaid panel area (also Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper) allowed me to later add a dollar amount for a customer (Large Numbers Framelits Dies) but could easily accommodate a standard gift card

  1. Love the plaid deer. I wonder if he’d/she’d look good in any of the other warmth and cheer paper? I bought 3 packs accidently. Green?

    • It was my favorite paper of the holiday catalog, Donata! My only suggestion would be to stick to a smaller pattern so that you can see the paper details within the size of the reindeer!

  2. Love, Love, Love this card! Rogue? I…. see…. nothing….! Looks GREAT to me! I just might have to copy this for my stash for next year. I always run out of time!!!!

  3. Love this project, Mary! What fun! The deer is such a great die, and I love what you did with it.

    • You could stick the gift card to the plaid section since that’s not seen until you unfold it.
