Hey Chick Have a Happy Day!

Today’s “just because” card is a sneak peek at the Hey Chick stamp set exclusively available as a FREE gift during Sale-A-Bration. Along with being super cute and kinda quirky, Hey Chick stamp set will be FREE with a $50 order! Sale-A-Bration starts January 4th.

I love hearing from you!  Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.

  • The Very Vanilla card base is note card size (3 1/2 x 5). The Designer Series Paper pattern is from the Moroccan Designer Series Paper collection and looks a bit like pretty chicken wire.
  • Something to cluck about!  The chicken was stamped in Versa-Mark and embossed with Copper Embossing Powder.

  • Pretty enough to frame!  Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies (currently out of stock but expected in next week – yay!) and the Layering Squares Framelits Dies frame this chick perfectly.
  • The sentiment, dipped in Dapper Denim ink, is cropped and cut with a die from the Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies.
  • The 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon gives a rustic vibe to this sweet little note card.

  1. Hi Mary. Just got back into the country and as I was thumbing through your blog for the last month I saw the video of the incredible announcement! No real surprise however. You work so hard and are so supportive of your Pals community. A wonderful recognition for a fabulous person! So happy for you!

  2. Renee Thompson

Wow that chicken looks great with those colors!

  3. Linda Robertson

Could I please get the new Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs when they are available? Thank you.

  4. Nancy Farrell

Good Morning Mary, This is a really cute card. I thought that SAB set was adorable when I saw it. I was wondering what punch you used for the sentiment. When I scrolled down and saw the Bunch of Banners Framelits I was so excited. I have that set but totally overlooked that particular framelit. How are your renovations going along?
    Have a great day.

    • Thanks for asking, Nancy! Renovations are moving along but not so much in the craft room. It should get paint (picking the perfect shade of muted plum) this coming week and cabinets the following week. Then I’ll start to feel like something is happening.
