Today’s Jar of Love card reminds me of summer nights catching fireflies as a little one. I adore the dots of stamped “light” on the fireflies! All stamped images are from Jar of Love Photopolymer Stamp Set.

My inspiration comes from this week’s Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge (PPA312). This clever sketch was designed by PPA artist, Linda Callahan. Play along!
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- The jar and lid were stamped in Basic Black and cropped to perfection using the Everyday Jars Framelits Dies.
- A Crush Curry circle cropped with the Layering Circles Framelits Dies (one of My Favorite Things from the Annual Catalog) adds a little moonlight.
- Seeing stars! I’m diggin’ how the embossed stars (Lucky Stars Embossing Folder) define the nightscape.
- The finishing touch is Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Thick Baker’s Twine. Don’t you agree?

Great contrast between light and dark to “she’d light” on the theme. Simplistic but artful and brings back lots of memories chasing fire flies on summer nights. Thanks for sharing your always impressive artistic creations.
Cutest card…EVER! It brings back memories of catching fireflies on a summer’s night for sure!

Sweet card! For the fireflies – did you stamp the circle/dot stamp with crushed curry? I love this set.
Yes, Chris R. from Iowa. I stamped the firefly circles of “light” in Crushed Curry. Thanks for asking.
Oh I love the sweet jar of fireflies! I have to get my set inky…what am I waiting for? Also love the starry night backdrop!

Takes me right back to my childhood years and catching fireflies in the front yard in the evening. GREAT CARD my friend.
