Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for August 2016. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes. This month we are featuring projects using our favorite Stampin’ Up! cutting tools. There are so many wonderful punches, framelits and edgelits available that help make papercrafting more detailed and fun! We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and that you enjoy our creations.
You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below. The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.
Isn’t she lovely in Night of Navy and Whisper White? I created this sophisticated and feminine baby card for today’s Cut It Out Blog Hop using the Stampin’ Up! Made with Love Photopolymer Stamp Set and coordinating Baby’s First Framelits Dies.
I love hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- The “negative” portion cropped with the onesie is popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals and layered over a crisp Night of Navy and Whisper White pattern from Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper. Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper is one of My Favorite Things from the 2016-17 annual catalog.
- A Night of Navy enamel dot (Regals Enamel Shapes) defines the white flower (also from Baby’s First Framelits Dies).
- It’s a wrap! Coordinating Night of Navy Solid Baker’s Twine adds a quick dash of style.
- Even the Whisper White Medium Envelope gets attention using the “made with love” sentiment stamp.

Too, too cute for words!!
I never would have thought to use that DSP for a onesie card. So elegant! Love it.
Very “cute” Mary 🙂 That tiny flower just puts your card over the top with cuteness!
Oh, how cuuuute! Good reminder of using the negative from a die.
love the onesie aperture what a great idea! Classic Mary Fish – wow!
Who would have thought a sweet baby card could be this classy!!! The pattern paper as a background looks amazing and that sentiment just gives this card the right amount of cuteness.
Just beautiful, Mary.
Thank you, Sue. The onesie (negative portion) was cropped with the onesie die from Baby’s First Dies.
such a cute bab y card; tfs! (did you have a pattern for the onsie?)
Oh, MsMary it’s so pretty and perfect !! I love it all ❤️

Super sweet card Mary. Great way to turn the negative into the perfect positive!
This card is so cute. And so easy.
I love all this sweet feedback. Thank you. I think baby cards can be traditional as well as sophisticated 🙂
Brilliant showcase of the DSP and so sophisticated. You prove that all baby cards do NOT need to be “cutsie” to be effective.
Super cute card, Mary!
So stinkin’ cute! I love that DSP!! So classic!
Very classy use of the cut it out negative! Love this idea!
Couldn’t be more adorable, Mary. I love that you made this sophisticated paper so adorable!
This is so pretty! Love it.
OH BABY BABY……..This card is ADORABLE! The softness of the DSP just BLEW ME AWAY!
awesome use of the die and negative space…love the white and navy for baby!
Very very cute! 🙂
Love the use of the negative space. I agree with Debi, A classic!
Oh, baby! What a simple, yet uber classy, card! A classic!
