The Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Words stamp set was your top choice with 37% of the vote in my latest Stampin’ Pretty Reader’s Choice Poll! With that direction from you, I used Watercolor Words stamp set on today’s “hope” and sympathy card for a big, bold message!
I LOVE HEARING FROM YOU! Please leave me a comment HERE if you have questions or comments on today’s card.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- Easy, see-through placement! The floral and leaf images from Watercolor Words photopolymer stamp set helped me create a background lickety split.
- The “hope” sentiment was cropped with the 2 1/2″ Circle Punch and layered over a circle of Early Espresso that was cropped with one of the Circles Collection Framelits Dies.
- I added a single Early Espresso Candy Dot (Neutrals Candy Dots) to accent the flower.
- The perfect polish! A Lost Lagoon polka dot liner from the 2014-2016 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack dresses up the Whisper White Medium Envelope.
- Hover and Pin it! This photo shows key products for today’s Watercolor Words “hope” card that you can save or pin to Pinterest. See ALL my labeled product photos in one spot on my How to Make Simple Cards board on Pinterest.

Hi Mary, would like to make these for a Ribbon of Hope Event. What are the dimensions for layered early espresso and whisper white that the stamped flowers are on?
I don’t think that is for this card, Mary Anne. Happy to help if you find the original post/card.
What dimensions did you cut the brick wall piece to begin with so that you could split and separate enough for the sentiment and not waste paper?
LOVE your card!!!
I also like that you share a card using the winner. This one is good. It’s now in my favorites folder. Thank you.
Mary, I like your polls.
I use the Perfect Pennants set very often, especially “Life doesn’t have to be perfect…..” and “Sending Good Thoughts.” Sorry it’s going out, but happy I have it.
I agree, Lynn . . . I would love to do more videos. The challenge is time. I DO have over 200 videos on my youtube channel and will do my best to sneak in producing some more!
Love these polls, but I would like you to do a video once in a while. It is nice when you do that too. It makes me think I am right there with you! 🙂
Oooooh , MsMary you did a beautiful job
Well done !! Love those 3 colors you used
Tfs ,
Hugs Frenchie ❤️
Lol and I just left my comment on the wrong card…….but I do like this one too! I am going to miss Lost Lagoon! Love that shade!
Love pink and black…..and I love that you got out that brayer to do the background! Fabulous!
Hi Mary: Your card turned out so pretty. Beside your choice of paper colors being so attractive, the candy dot embellishment adds the perfect finishing touch. I really like how you work the dots in many of your other creations. As always, thank you.
Thanks, Loretta. I tried putting a candy dot on each of the flowers (including the background) but felt it lost it’s way. I preferred just the one “dot” on the sentiment flower.
I like your polling process too, it’s fun and pushes your creativity for us! Thanks for sharing! I love today’s card!! 🙂
I plan to do more polls and projects because of such positive feedback! Thanks!
GREAT card Mary. Hope…..I can get some time to PLAY today!
I really enjoy the opportunity to vote on a color or stamp or die and then see you use it. Thanks.
This is such a great showcase of the stamp set, Mary! I absolutely love your color combination, too. Way to go, readers, on picking a great stamps set for Mary.
