A Simple & Cheerful Christmas Card

There’s something about the bold Cheerful Christmas stamp that begs to be decorated with Candy Dots and bits of bling.  What could be simpler?

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • A crisp, black image is easy to obtain when inking up with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
  • I used the corner rounder punch on my Stampin’ Up! Envelope Punch Board to soften the bottom corners.

  • A touch of black and white polka dot pattern anchors the background.  It’s from the Stampin’ Up! Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack.

  1. Great card, there’s something about black and white that says elegance. The candy dots add just a touch of whimsy

  2. Stampin’ Up! has a great example using just a few embellishments on p. 14 of the holiday catalog, too! That’s what convinced me to try it!

  3. This is a lovely card!! I have been waffling about this set. I think you might have sold me on it. I like how you used the black ink and then decorated the front with a few colored elements. Great design!!

  4. I really love your comments. Truly, this is a 10 minutes (or less) card . . . which makes it even more WOW!

  5. I’ve been reading you a long time and so, so many of your designs are simply awesome. This card is over the top! I don’t comment much but am compelled to say how stunning this black & white card is!

  6. Mary, I love your use of black and white with this stamp set. It gives such an elegant appearance!
