Hi Nancy: There are five layers to give the sentiment the “chipboard” two tone look. Unfortunately, the Framelits Dies are designed to cut through a single layer. It’s just too big a job to cut all at once. Appreciate the suggestion. M
247 webber brook road why don’t you just pull off the transfer sheet and stick it to to red and cut all at once? it would save time and it would be lined up at the same time
LOVE ALL the tips that Linda provided for using this die. VERY HELPFUL and I will use those tips when I re-create this project with my Hailey Girl.
I want to add my thanks for sharing this really helpful video. I think the card is lovely and the added depth the Real Red adds gives it that extra impact that makes it not only lovely, but unique.
Oh my gosh Mary, what an impact the Real Red makes under the silver paper, it just peeks out enough to look amazing. Thank you for sharing this wonderful idea and video. Your card is so beautiful and elegant, the little snow flakes and sequences truly add a shimmering and festive detail to it.
LOVE THIS!! Thank you for sharing!
For Anne Marie: I used the Dots & Stripes Decorative Masks (133775), Soft Sky Ink and Sponge Daubers for the background. More details are on my post for Aug. 19. Hugs, M
Hi Heather: Yes, I used the Transfer Adhesive Sheets on ALL layers, including the bottom one so that it would attached securely to the card. So FIVE layers of Transfer Adhesive Sheets. Works like a champ! Hugs, M
Thanks for the refresher, Mary! This was a WOW!
SO cute… I wasn’t necessarily on the fence about this set, but you just vaulted me over it LOL Did you use the adhesive transfer sheets on the red layers, too?
Hi Laura: There are FOUR layers of Real Red and ONE layer (on top) of Silver Foil 🙂 M
Is there more than 1 layer of the red? It looks fairly thick. Thx, lovely card.
Great video Mary! Love this card.
