I “Love Ya” Mojo Monday!

Stampin up stamp it pretty mary fish word bubbles framelits dies just saying card ideas blog

“Love Ya” is an understatement of today’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO341).  I love the combination of Basic Black, Real Red and Very Vanilla.  How about you?

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • The banners were created using the Banners Framelits Dies and Bitty Banners Framelits Dies.  Did you see HERE how I store them in My Stampin’ Studio Video?
  • Just Sayin’ stamp set and Word Bubbles Framelits Dies were “meant for each other.”  Love it!  Save 10% when you purchase them together as a bundle.  See product details below!
  • Just the thing!  I played with buttons, brads and ribbon before I decided that the simple trio of black Candy Dots on the Real Red Banner was the right complement to the polka dot patterns.
  • I’m simply mad about packaging a handmade card in a lined envelope.  So easy to create with Modern Medley Designer Series Paper, a Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine and the Stampin’ Up! Envelope Framelits Dies.

  1. Thanks, Maria. The Owl Builder Punch (ditto on the Cupcake and Bird Builder Punches) is a little multi-tasker when it comes to all those crops!

  2. Oooo, pretty , MsMary , love the colors u picked ,
    Your so good ,
Hugs Frenchie , love pok a dots ,

  3. Got to love the MOJO!!!!! Red and Black are always a winning combination of colors but this Polka Dot DSP makes it even more fabulous. When I saw the Owl Punch in your list of “ingredients” for this card I had to go and take a look at it again, and then I saw that little heart on your sentiment so, it clicked. This Owl Punch is such a fun punch, all it’s parts serve other purposes perfectly. I made a Lego birthday card for my daughter’s nephew, on her hubby’s side who, like any little 7 year old boy, loves Lego blocks. I needed a circle punch for the knobs on the blocks so, I grabbed my Owl Punch and punched away!! Needless to say, the card was a hit!!
Thank you for sharing this great Mojo Monday card.

  4. When I clicked on your blog and only saw a sneak peek at the card, the very vanilla with black polka-dots, I knew this was going to be great. Love it! 🙂
