I love receiving handmade cards as much as making them. The card above is a thank you sent to me by Ginger Toivonen, a member of my Stampin’ Pretty Pals Community. She used the chalkboard technique with perfection. Don’t miss the coordinating snippet of Stampin’ Up! Storytime Designer Series Paper on the envelope flap! Check out more of Ginger’s paper crafting talent on her new Ginger Stamps Blog.
The next card is from Maria Rodriguez. It was instant medicine when I was recovering from the flu in February. Maria is a loyal customer as well as virtual friend. She comments on my blog posts almost every day and I cherish her kind words. She’s a master with watercoloring and this card is no exception. It’s a total WOW!
Please feel free to leave a comment below for Ginger or Maria. They will appreciate your feedback on their beautiful work!

Dear Mary, Ginger and Maria, These cards are beautiful. I am so impressed with the coloring and the chalk they are so beautiful. Thank you for sharing these two lovely cards. The card by Maria would make anybody feel well by receiving that cute card.
Thank You so much for both of your beautiful talent. Have a great stamping day.
Ginger, your chalkboard technique is awesome! I love all the little details in this whole scene! And, Maria, your water coloring is to die for!! I wish I could even come close to that when trying to color!! Awesome!
These are both awesome cards. The little mice from House Mouse are a favorite of mine, the delicate watercoloring adds so much. The chalkboard effect is very realistic (I taught for 26 years, I know) and the card is super cute.
What wonderful cards from amazingly talented women. Glad you have recovered. Thank you for sharing.
I love when you showcase cards and their creators…these are fabulous and different talents….the meeces are tooo cute for words! Thank you Mary and ladies!
I love House Mouse designs. I have a friend who collects their stamps and has about a million of them. Thanks for sharing.
Two lovely cards today Mary, I enjoyed them both, thanks for showing us what comes in the mail.
Wow! Both cards are wonderful and you have many talented friends! House Mouse is pretty much to blame for my stamping addiction. They are so cute! Watercoloring is not my talent so mine never looked as wonderful as Maria’s though!
oh I love the chalkboard card! hugs! Mojca
I like both of these cards …but, I must admit I have a soft spot for my Swap Buddy Maria !! She makes the best cards in the neighborhood (tee hee)..I am lucky enough to receive one of her creations on a regular basis and she does GREAT watercloring !! Thank you Mary for showcasing your fan`s cards . And so glad you are better !
Two gorgeous cards Mary.
Amazing chalkboard design by Ginger……And I love the watercolor that Maria did – AWESOME JOB!

I love both of these cards! Will have to case Ginger’s card for some school notes for the teachers, and just wish I could color like Maria…wow!
Both of these cards are wonderful! Ever since I saw the Storytime DSP, I have wanted it. Since I have so much paper, I haven’t been able to justify it. Now I want it more than ever! Many people have been demonstrating the “chalkboard technique.” This card is one of my favorite examples of how it should work!!!
On the get well card, I am so impressed with the water coloring! So well done! I love the “House Mouse” mice! They are soooooo cute!
Thanks for sharing the talent of your friends!
I am in absolute awe of the magnitude of talent that you attract and showcase. It is humbling for someone like me wanting to learn it all at once. Both cards show the love and detail that went into their cards made for you. Beautiful does not do the cards justice. Won’t be casing those anytime soon as I fear it will take me many cards to reach that caliber!
Oh my goodness, Mary!! The best compliment is finding my card here this morning. Thank you for your kind words and I’m so happy you liked this card. I’m happy too that you are all better now.
Maria.
What sweet friends you have! Here in the UK we don’t tend to send many cards, its a shame really as they mean so much! Lisa 🙂
