For today’s hop, I created a very simple holiday card using Snowflake Soiree stamp set (Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog).  The stunning snowflakes and sentiment were heat embossed in Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.

I added a Vintage Faceted Designer Button on one of the snowflakes for sparkle and a yummy piece of Very Vanilla 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon for polish.

  1. Hi, Mary. It took me two days (during my SU business hours) to get through the blog hop. I was so impressed, so inspired, and so sidetracked (!) by every single blog! I kept wanting to read through the whole blog because of the great projects I was seeing. The Pals are an amazingly talented and creative team and I look forward to every hop. This one was exceptional!

  2. Such a beautiful card, Mary! That single clear vintage button really makes this whole idea pop!

  3. So beautifully elegant and perfect in every way. Definitely want to use something like this for a Christmas card this year!

  4. Nicole’s blog badges are Adorable! This Christmas card is stunning! I bet more-so in person as the gold is reading brown in here until you tilt your computer sideways..just kidding! Beautiful!

  5. Stunning! This is absolutely beautiful!!! I didn’t think I needed the snowflake set, but WOW!! I just love this :o}

  6. Hi Tina: I believe it must be fixed. I just tested it. However, I sent your comment to our blog hop manager to double check. I appreciate the heads up because we want everything working perfectly! Hugs, Mary

  7. #12(Diane Roberts)blog hop button does not take you to #13, but sends you back here to you Mary. Beautiful card, by the way. Thanks! 🙂

  8. Mary, this is absolutely exquisite! Did you wrap and tie the ribbon through the snowflake layer?

    Love it!

  9. Wow, so elegant! Love the gold embossing and the faceted button gives it just the right sparkle! Beautiful 🙂
