I wanted to share more magnificent cards today created and given to me by my Stampin’ Pretty Pals. It really warms my heart when I receive a handmade card and it’s such fun to show them off to you. I have linked their blogs where available. Tricia Barber’s sunflower card (above) really rocks the Summer Starfruit In Color and the Stampin’ Up! Sunflower background stamp. I love the way she used the two sentiments together, dot, dot, dot.
Debra Simonis took charge of the Triple Time Stamping Technique (see more about this technique HERE). A simple Antique Brad and Linen Thread keep the look clean. Nice as a fall card, too. To see more of Debra’s card ideas, please visit her blog.
Nicole Blalock did a wonderful job incorporating the new 3 1/2″ Scalloped Tulle Ribbon and Designer Ribbon Slides. Both products are from the new Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog. The row of eggs (Nature Walk) makes such a classy, botanical background!
Pal Ruby Greer sent me this cool tea cup congrats card whicht she hand stitched. Did you catch that? She HAND STITCHED! The color and texture are even more impressive in real life!
Simple strips of Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper (now retired) and a touch of embossing set the stage for Mary Lou Glick’s card. The trio of punched, sponged flowers, baker’s twine and simple flag sentiment take it to the finish line!
Trica Chuba gave me this sweet and practical desk note organizer. The butterflies are from Stampin’ Up! Papillon Potpourri stamp set and stamped amazingly well on the cork. The buttons are converted push pins. So clever!
My eyes went straight for the yellow flowers tipped with Primrose Petals Ink on this sophisticated card by Sue Ware. I love how each flower is defined by a pearl and the texture is delicious.
