To give the card a little jazz, I added touches of paper-piercing using the Stampin’ Up! Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack (one of my Top 10 Favorite Stampin’ Up! Accessories). I adore that many of the shapes coordinate with Stampin’ Up! punches and framelits. Here’s a new 1 Minute to WOW! Video to show you how:
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- The fresh color palette of Floral District Designer Series Paper determined my color combination. Having coordinating cardstock makes card making a breeze!
- Each heart gets it’s own personalty. The large heart gets a touch of paper-piercing. The two smaller hearts are accented with buttons and pearls.
- I whipped up a coordinating envelope with my Stampin’ Up! Simply Scored Scoring Tool and Simply Scored Diagonal Plate. Note the chart measurements for this 5″ square card produce a 5 1/2″ square envelope–plenty of room to tuck in a card with “bumpy” embellishments. Here’s my Simply Scored Diagonal Plate Measurement Chart.
