Let’s kick off the week with a fresh Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO256) with a holiday theme. I was also inspired by a challenge presented by two members of my Stampin’ Pretty Pals, Nina Dee and Naki Rager. Their Double Dare Challenge this week was to use two neutral colors (Nina) plus the embossing technique (Naki).
- Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Bashful Blue are a crisp color combination for the holidays. They look handsome with this pattern from Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack. I think this mix definitely works for a masculine card!
- BUNDLE UP! Save 15% when you purchase the Ornament Keepsake stamp set and Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies together.
- The Crumb Cake card base is 4 3/4″ square. The position of the flagged sentiment banner takes the maximum card width to 5 1/2″.
- Create a custom envelope to accommodate this 5 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ card by using the Stampin’ Up! Simply Scored Scoring Tool and Diagonal Plate. Cut designer series paper to 8 3/4″ square. The “A” diagonal score should be at 4 1/8 and the “B” score at 3 5/8″. Finished envelope size is approx. 5 7/8″ x 5.
- See my Simply Scored Scoring Tool & Diagonal Plate Envelope Chart. Today’s card is a unique size so I haven’t added it to the chart of more standard sizes. However, there are open blanks where you can write in the measurements and scores.

Lucky Limeade is the color I always forget to use and yet it fits right in there with all the other greens. Thank you for sharing, this card is very nice.
A very stunning card…love it! Love to see holiday cards go astray from the traditional theme colors!!
What a beautiful card – love those colors together! Thank you for providing your Simply Scored chart for making envelopes, that is so helpful.

The neutrals combined with the Bashful Blue makes for a truly gorgeous card! Love how you have the one “flag” coming right off the edge of the card. Beautiful!

Bashful Blue isn’t listed on the colors list for the Festival of Prints paper. However, this pattern has a soft blue and it looks like Bashful Blue. I “dusted it off” and used it!
