Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog Ornament By Katy M.

20120601_Holiday_en-USOne of the questions I have been asked regularly since the release of the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog is how to make the beautiful paper ornament featured on the cover.  Katy McGloin, a member of my Stampin' Pretty Pals and today's guest stamper took it upon herself to give it a try and sent me one of her sensational versions.

Unlike the cover creation, Katy saved time by using Stampin' Up! Be of Good Cheer Designer Series Paper (126896) instead of stamps and ink.

Remember Katy's incredible holiday box from a previous guest stamper gig?  Well, Katy listened to your suggestion back then and has started a blog to share her incredible papercrafting.  She'll spill all the details for today's ornament above along with her own tutorial and tips.  CLICK TO HEAD TO KATY'S NEW BLOG.

In case you like to look at engineering from different angles, here are the PDF directions I received from Stampin' Up! for the cover ornament and the ornaments on page 3.
