Clean and Simple Stampin’ Up! Style

Stampin up card idea best of everything word play rubber stamp
Concord Crush is such a luscious deep blue with a twist of purple.  The "inky blue" contrast with Whisper White is so striking–perfect for today's clean and simple card.

My  card was inspired by this page from a West Elm home d?cor catalog.

  • I love the clean look of the Stampin' Up! Woodgrain background stamp.  It's only offered in wood-mount.  However, I converted it to clear-mount using Stampin' Up! Cling Mount Foam (124236).  Click for my Converting Wood-Mount to Clear Mount Video Tutorial
  • The tiny brads in the four corners are just the right pizzazz.
  • The card base measures 4 1/2" x 5 1/2"

      1. So pretty – concord crush and white are so nice together and the Woodgrain adds a nice touch, as usual Mike you will really like it (I have the die and the stamp) prefer the die. Not sure which Mary used but it looks like the die.

      2. I really like your interpretation of the inspiration piece and how you did the white and Concord Crush combo. That striped with the Woodgrain background looks awesome as well!

      3. I love how you find your inspirations, Mary! Amazing use of the wood stamp and how you adapted it from the photo. Unlike Mike, I already own it and love using it in unusual ways. Here is one more way to play with it. Thanks Mary!

      4. Awesome card! I’m with Mike…LOL. You did a wonderful job to create interest in the background without covering the entire card with woodgrain! Love it.

      5. I love seeing how you turn an inspirational piece into a beautiful card! I think the contrast between the bold color and white are just striking.

      6. Love your card! I have the concord crush and always thought it was to be purple but never used it. Thanks for the great idea card!
