Top 'o the mornin'! Several weeks ago, I shared the card below as my Simple Saturday project and video. You can catch the details, video and original post HERE. I mentioned that the background design could easily adapt to a St. Patrick's Day card. My fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Sue Smedley (sorry, no blog to link to) ran with the idea and created the fabulous shamrock card above for our recent Southwest Stampers shoebox swap. Thanks, Sue, for bringing the "twist" to life!
Sue used the Stampin' Up! Lucky Shamrock (Wood-only, 121939) single stamp from the Occasions Mini Catalog. The shamrock portion of the stamp was cropped with either the 1 1/4" Square Punch (119865, Whisper White squares) or the 1" Circle Punch (119868, for the sentiment). Sweet little hearts were produced with the Heart to Heart Punch (119881), popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals (104430) and layered over the shamrocks. Makes you want to do a little Irish jig, yes?
DID YOU NOTICE? I jazzed up my blog banner. It's raining shamrocks!

Fantaiseach – as my Irish relatives might say! That many shamrocks ought to be good luck for whomever the card is sent. Puts me in the mood for Irish dinner! Well done and I see lots of those little shamrocks gracing the placecards on that special day at our house.
Love it!!
Sue’s card is so cute – and the little shamrock hearts look like they are wood. Love it!
Raining Shamrocks, Lucky!
