Ravishing RAK’s

SDC13834-2

Random Acts of Kindness = RAK.  I cherish receiving a handcrafted gift or card.  I wanted to show off some ravishing creations I received from my fellow Southwest Stampers demonstrator group.  They attended an event at my home with Shelli Gardner (Stampin' Up! CEO and Co-Founder) that preceded my  Workshop of a Lifetime.  Isn't the little basket by Karen Reid (above) adorable . . . yes, those ovals represent the Prickly Pear Cactus currently blooming in Tucson.  Prickly Pear Jam was tucked inside–clever girl!  Shelli got one, too!

  1. Don’t usually post comment, but this one I cn’t stop smiling about! I’m from MN but I LOVE the prickly pear cactus! I have a stepdaughter living in Tucson so I just might make this on a card for her as a RAK! I’m a BIG fan, Mary. Thanks to you…and your PALS…for your fabulous inspiration!!

  2. OH MY GOODNESS!!! I love that prickly pear bag! My brother in law and nieces make prickly pear jam together and often give them as gifts. So cute. 🙂

  3. Each and everyone of those are so beautiful and you can feel the love in all of them. I must say that bag caught my eye and I would love to know how to make it. I’m curious on the cactus jam, what does it taste like?
Is it more of a spicy or sweet jam?

******* Hi Sandy: I’m pretty sure the bag is the same as one I made (CASE’d) ages ago. Here’s my post with details to the instructions: http://www.stampinpretty.com/2008/07/bella-rose-mini-tote.html

******* Pricky Pear jelly is sweet like honey–kind of like a marmalade, . . . great on toast and divine as a glaze on ham, chicken, etc. Hugs, M

  4. Wow! They’re ALL beautiful! Thanks for sharing them with us! I love your site Mary! I learn so much from you! Thanks for ALL you do!
