Feeling adventurous? Today’s Pals Paper Arts Challenge (PPA142) offers a playful mix of Elegant Eggplant, Lucky Limeade and Pumpkin Pie. My immediate thought was Halloween (I couldn’t wait to ink up my Toxic Treats stamp set). However, you could do a splashy bouquet or cool down the bold palette by using lots of white (one of my favorite tricks).
Check out what the rest of the Pals Paper Arts Design Team created with this color combination and play along HERE.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- If there’s just one Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper to have on hand for card making, it’s Polka Dot Parade. I used both sides of the Pumpkin Pie pattern. Simple.
- Skinny strips of Pumpkin Pie Card Stock look like stitches in the buttons. Buttons stay in place with Stampin’ Up! Glue Dots.
- I “mitered” two pieces of the polka dot pattern to form the photo corner.
- Make a big impact with Stampin’ Up! 2011-2013 In Color Designer Printed Brads. They really jazz up the sentiment in Lucky Limeade.
