The Pals Paper Arts Challenge Is Here!

Stampin up chic boutique ppa1

Generic I Love to Play at PPA!  I'm so excited to reveal our new weekly challenge blog, www.PalsPaperArts.com.  It was lovingly created by my talented and tireless PPA_Melon_Bermuda_Chocolate

For my first PPA challenge card, I grabbed the new stamp set, Chic Boutique.  However,  it's the  Stampin' Up! In Color Markers that make the Eiffel Tower scream Oooh Lah Lah!

  • Stampin up chic boutique eiffel tower I inked the tower image in Chocolate Chip and stamped on Whisper White.

  • Using In Color Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo Stampin' Up! Markers, the Eiffel Tower was transformed into an artsy and funky structure.

  • The corner was cropped with a Corner Rounder Punch and the image was adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals to Chocolate Chip card stock (also shaped with a Corner Rounder Punch).

  • TIP:  An ultra skinny slip of Melon Mambo was "threaded" through a Chocolate Chip Corduroy Button for a faux stitched look.

  • "Merci" was inked in Bermuda Bay and stamped on Whisper White.  It was punched with a Large Oval Punch and tucked into the side.  TIP:  Bermuda Bay Ink Pads and Reinkers are now available after having been unavailable while a quality (color) issue was resolved.

  • I layered Bermuda Bay (left) and Melon Mambo (right) Textured card stock over a Whisper White card base, 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (scored on the side).
  • A white strip accented with a Chocolate Chip Scallop Edge Punch covers the seam between the Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo.
  • Melon Mambo Polka Dot 1/2" Grosgrain Ribbon pumps up the volume along with four 1/2" circles of Bermuda Bay card stock.
