I Love to Play at PPA! I'm so excited to reveal our new weekly challenge blog, www.PalsPaperArts.com. It was lovingly created by my talented and tireless
For my first PPA challenge card, I grabbed the new stamp set, Chic Boutique. However, it's the Stampin' Up! In Color Markers that make the Eiffel Tower scream Oooh Lah Lah!
I inked the tower image in Chocolate Chip and stamped on Whisper White.
Using In Color Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo Stampin' Up! Markers, the Eiffel Tower was transformed into an artsy and funky structure.
The corner was cropped with a Corner Rounder Punch and the image was adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals to Chocolate Chip card stock (also shaped with a Corner Rounder Punch).
TIP: An ultra skinny slip of Melon Mambo was "threaded" through a Chocolate Chip Corduroy Button for a faux stitched look.
"Merci" was inked in Bermuda Bay and stamped on Whisper White. It was punched with a Large Oval Punch and tucked into the side. TIP: Bermuda Bay Ink Pads and Reinkers are now available after having been unavailable while a quality (color) issue was resolved.
- I layered Bermuda Bay (left) and Melon Mambo (right) Textured card stock over a Whisper White card base, 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (scored on the side).
- A white strip accented with a Chocolate Chip Scallop Edge Punch covers the seam between the Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo.
- Melon Mambo Polka Dot 1/2" Grosgrain Ribbon pumps up the volume along with four 1/2" circles of Bermuda Bay card stock.
