Sneak Peek: Summer Love Rub-Ons

Stampin up summer love rub-ons

What sneak peek is on the runway today?  Summer Love Rub-Ons are working their stuff, "dressed" in the hottest colors of the season, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Cameo Coral, and Basic Gray.  These beautiful colored rub-ons will be ready for fashion-minded stampers to purchase with the release of the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog on April 1

This birthday card is for Tiffany, one of my Stampin' Pretty Pals.  Her beautiful blog is here.  I have emailed her requesting she not to look at my blog for the next 24 hours.  If she comments below, we'll know she peeked.

To get started, I added a Summer Love Rub-On to four punched 1 1/4" Whisper White squares and layered them over 1 3/8" Squares (also punched) in Baja Breeze. They are followed by a 3 1/4" Square of Cameo Coral and a 3 1/2" Square of Kiwi Kiss.  Are you thinking "how simple?"  You would be right.

The 4.25 x 5.5 Baja Breeze card base is topped in Whisper White.  Using a Scor-Pal (available at, I added a couple sets of lines above and below where I wanted to place my sentiment.  TIP:  The Baja Breeze "birthday wishes" is from Wow Flowers and was applied precisely where I wanted it with the assistance of a Stamp-a-ma-jig.  Click for my stamp-a-ma-jig tutorial.

I added a snippet of Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon.  TIP:  In case you haven't heard this from me many times before, I adore Stampin' Up!'s Taffeta Ribbon. It's easy to tie and beautiful to boot!
