The Tree Builder Punch was your choice by just one vote over the Owl Builder Punch! Oh, what fun to have my blog readers “boss me around” with the results of the latest poll and direct me to use the Tree Builder Punch on today’s card. Here are the poll results. Please note you can no longer vote because the poll is closed.
This poll is closed. These are the final results!
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- A blue tree, really? I have very few rules when it comes to making a modern, colorful card. Embrace your creative confidence and “color outside the lines!”
- Flower Fair Framelits Dies. I was excited to discover that the leaf die from the Flower Fair Framelits Dies multi-tasks for a Cucumber Crush “hill!”
- The sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Birthday Blooms stamp set fits perfectly inside the leaf die. I kept die in place during it’s journey through the Big Shot using the Magnetic Platform (a must-have).
- The little Real Red bird (also produced with the Tree Builder Punch) adds a bold pop of color.
- Hover and Pin it! This photo shows key products for today’s Tree Builder Punch card that you can save or pin to Pinterest. See ALL my labeled product photos in one spot on my How to Make Simple Cards board on Pinterest.
- Pin my Stampin’ Pretty Color Mix! Visit my Stampin’ Pretty Color Mix Board on Pinterest for more colorful ideas.
SEARCH IT! If you want to see more of my ideas using the Tree Builder Punch (or any of the builder punches in the poll), other Stampin’ Up! tools, stamp sets and more, you can use the search feature on the top right of my blog. Love it! Could be my next Ronald McDonald card for the kids! Case is what is going to happen. Thanks, Mary!
I appreciate your no rules approach to color. It’s not my natural approach, but I recently used that approach to make colorful Easter bunnies from the Pyramid Pals for my great nieces and nephews, and was very happy with the result. We sometimes need the inspiration that you provide to make our projects that much better.
I love your card. It is wonderful to see ideas of what to do with with what we have that is so clever. I love the tree punch and your ideas are always so simple and very striking at the same time!
Cute card, Mary. Love the little bird
Darling modern tree! Love it!
and I almost didn’t vote!! LOL Lovely tree, Mary!
I love your polls and I LOVE this card! Between you and Brian I will find myself looking at my stamps and framelits in a whole new way! Thank you for the inspiration:-) And do consider giving the owl a little love – it was such a close race – and he is older ya know!
I’m feeling sorry for the Owl Punch. LOL!
Fun card and love the colors. My favorite part…. your vision to use that leaf for the hill!
DARLING card that wins it ALL.
Love this card and your colors. Also, what a creative use of the flower fair die!
Love the turquoise tree leaves. What a great card with a sweet and simple layout.

I promise to do another poll next week, Frenchie . . . perhaps it will evolve into a regular Tuesday feature!
I may use the owl in the future. Thanks for the suggestion. However, for instant “gratification,” you can try the search tool in the top right of my blog and add “owl punch.” That way you’ll get some quick samples like this fun graduation card. https://stampinpretty.com/2012/05/scholarly-owl-graduation-card-idea.html
ADORABLE…so fun and fresh! This is my kinda card….thanks for making me smile!
Love the card today. Any thoughts that since the poll was that close, you would also consider doing an owl card?
Oh my goodness!! I knew this was going to be a close call Mary!!! I don’t have the Tree Builder punch but I have the Owl punch and it’s a cutie.
