I can’t wait till Jan 5th…………….thank you Mary! This card is elegant and just perfect not only for sympathy but I can see it used for get well, thinking about you, birthday and thank you cards. Love the colors………
Simple but beautiful sympathy card! It seems like I am always short on sympathy cards – I can whip some of these out in no time! Thanks for sharing!
You are welcome. Glad you think the design is helpful!
I have seen the ROSE etc before BUT this is BEAUTIFUL !! Can’t wait to get a set, for my daughter & I. I have been needing Sympathy cards – lately & this fills the bill !!
We often need sympathy cards quickly and this is definitely a quick one to create! Thanks, Margaret.
Your card is simply beautiful Mary. I think the bundles in the Occasions catalog are an amazing value for all paper crafters.
I’m with YOU, Robbye. The bundled stamps and dies/punches, really make both parts more versatile. Plus you save 15%–gotta love that!
Love it! Your classic, clean, elegant style.
Thanks so much, Tracy!
I love the way the rose just ever so slightly hangs off the chocolate chip layer to reveal the white base. Simple, yet stunning.
Love your comment, Lori!
This color combination is so “Mary”! You always remind us to use all the colors. Think your inspiration this time could be your home state of Arizona. Thanks for a lovely card for a difficult time.
Turquoise and brown . . . very AZ. Hadn’t thought about it that way until you pointed it out!
I love this card so much, so silent and beautiful. Perfect balance! Thanks for your inspiration.
I really like the rose thinlit and your use of it with this card. The turquoise is beautiful set on the chocolate chip. Beautiful!
Very pretty Mary, and I do like that added pop of color with the candy dot! A lovely card! With which adhesive did you adhere the roses?? Thanks so much, and for sharing!! Love it!
Good question about the adhesive, Donna. The Fine Tip Glue Pen is an excellent option, especially if you know where you want to place them. I used a touch of snail on the back so that I could move the roses around a bit if needed. By doing that, however, I had to clean up a bit between the open areas to get the excess Snail off.
Thanks so much for your reply Mary! Makes sense, thank you! 🙂
Very nice I like the rose flower
Thank you, Miss Mary!
Beautiful, Mary. I would never have thought to use turquoise on a sympathy card, but these delicate rose outlines are perfect against the darker chocolate color.
Thank you, Nan!
Thanks, Frenchie. Your sweet comments always make me smile! So grateful to have you as a friend.
Ooo, MsMary that card is so right for a sympathy card, simple but lovely , at the time that’s what we all need , soft and simple , love the envy, perfect, color perfect also, tfs,
Hugs Frenchie
My next order !!
Thank you, Kadie and Brian. Your comments really brighten my day!
Beautiful simplicity, Mary, and perfect for this type of card. The Turquoise pops against the black, but the sentiment brings it all together.
Simply GORGEOUS Mary. Know that sympathy cards are difficult and you created one that is simple but heartfelt in all it’s meaning.
What a lovely Sympathy card Mary, simple yet elegant, the color combination is beautiful.
This types of cards are difficult to make, you really can’t embellish them to much so that Candy Dot is just the perfect little detail in yours.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment, Maria!
