4 tips for using pearlized enamel effects!
- Create Custom Pearls or Dots – Use Pearlized (or Metallic) Enamel Effects to create dimensional pearls or dots by gently squeezing the bottle and placing small drops directly onto your project. Vary the size by adjusting the pressure on the bottle. Allow them to dry completely for a raised, glossy accent.
- Outline and Highlight Embellishments – Add a touch of pearlized or metallic enamel to outline die-cut shapes, stamped images, or sentiments. The enamel adds subtle shine and dimension, drawing attention to your focal points. You can also use it to fill in certain areas for a glossy, textured look.
- Create Faux Metal or Embossed Looks – Apply the enamel to specific areas of an embossed background or stamped images to mimic the look of raised metal or heat embossing. This works particularly well with holiday cards, giving them an extra luxurious feel.
- Mix with Ink or Watercolor for Soft Effects – For a softer, shimmery effect, mix a small amount of Pearlized or Metallic Enamel Effects with ink or watercolor before applying it to your project. This can create a beautiful pearlescent wash that gives your project a delicate, ethereal look, perfect for backgrounds or subtle accents.
