Today’s card is fun and youthful–perfect for my niece’s birthday. The combination of Summer Starfruit, Primrose Petals and Basic Gray are retro-licious!
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- Try using the outline of a punched piece rather than the
punched piece itself. It can be so striking layered over a contrasting color!
- A Stampin’ Up! In Color Dahlia that coordinates with the Primrose Petals card stock adds a subtle 3-D effect.
- HOT PROMOTION! The luscious Primrose Petals 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon can be yours FREE during the Stampin’ Up! Back to Spool Special. Ends Sept. 30. See additional details below!
- I use a square punch (pretty much any size) to crop my flagged ends. Check out my Stampin’ Pretty Video Tutorial to learn how.
BACK TO “SPOOL” RIBBON SPECIAL. Get a FREE In Color 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon with every $40 you spend (excluding shipping and tax). September Only. Get the details.

Hi Mary….I know you have had a crazy week and I want to thank you for continuing to post your beautiful projects while you were away. Congrats on being chosen for the advisory board. WOW!!! Your idea of using the square punch is genius. So glad to be working with you again. You are a wonderful role model for us all. Hugs 🙂
I know that I have a lot of company who don’t care for the Summer Starfruit…but have to say that your putting it with Basic Gray and the Primrose Petals really changes it to a more liveable color. Your niece will love her card!

I’m going to go home and make that one tonight.
