how to cut your cardstock & dimensions:
- Basic White Thick Card Stock:
- Center Lift Fun Fold Card Base – 7 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 3 1/4 on the 7 1/2 side
- Petunia Pop Card Stock:
- Layer – 3 x 5 1/4
- Drip Die-Cut Layer – 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 (before die-cutting)
- Die-Cut Sentiment – 3 1/4 x 1 (before die-cutting)
- Basic Black Card Stock:
- Layer – 2 3/4 x 5
- Cauldron Die-Cut – 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 (before die-cutting)
- Bubbles – 2 1/2 x 1 3/4 (before die-cutting)
- Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper:
- Layer – 2 1/2 x 4 3/4
- Smoky Slate Card Stock:
- Drip Die-Cut Layer – 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 (before die-cutting)
- Petunia Pop 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper:
- Envelope Flap – 5 3/4 x 3 (before die-cutting)
how to make this simple card:
Burnish the fold of the Basic White Thick card base with a Bone Folder.
Layer and adhere the Designer Series Paper, Basic Black and Petunia Pop layers together and to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Wrap with Petunia Pop 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon, securing on the left with a bow as shown.
Zip the Basic Black layer through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) tucked inside the So Swirly Embossing Folder.
Use a Mini MISTI stamp tool to position and stamp the sentiment (Potions and Spells stamp set) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto the Petunia Pop layer. Watch my 1 Minute to WOW video: The Magic of the Mini MISTI for a quick product demonstration here.
Crop the following with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) and the Potions and Spells dies:
- Basic Black Embossed layer – cauldron
- Basic Black layer – bubbles
- Petunia Pop and Smoky Slate layers – drips
Crop the sentiment with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the Happy Little Things label die.
Snip off the flagged end on the left side with Paper Snips.
Secure the ribbon beneath the cauldron with Mini Glue Dots or Stampin’ Seal.
Adhere the cauldron to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere the bubbles to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (4) and Stampin’ Dimensionals (2).
Adhere the sentiment as shown with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish the bubbles with Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
PERFECT POLISH! Adhere the 5 3/4 x 3 Designer Series Paper to the Basic White Medium envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. PRETTY TIP! Add glue to the flap first, not the Designer Series Paper. Center and line up the Around the Bend curved edge die, tape to secure (Post-It Tape) and crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard). Watch my Stampin’ Pretty WOW Video here.
