CUT YOUR CARD STOCK – DIMENSIONS:
- Basic White Thick Card Stock:
- Card Base – 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2 (top)
- Pecan Pie Card Stock:
- Layer – 3 3/4 x 5
- Sentiment – 1 1/2 x 1 (before die-cutting & snipping)
- Mossy Meadow Card Stock:
- Layer – 3 1/2 x 3 1/2
- Basic White Card Stock:
- Die-Cut Sentiment – 2 3/4 x 1 3/4 (before die-cutting)
- Iconic Celebrations 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper:
- Tree Print Layer – 3 1/2 x 3 1/2
- Envelope Flap – 5 3/4 x 2 1/2 (before snipping)
PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Burnish the fold of the Basic White Thick card base with a Bone Folder.
Adhere the Pecan Pie layer to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Layer and adhere the Designer Series Paper to the Mossy Meadow layer together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Mini MISTI stamp tool to stamp the “Christmas” sentiment (Greetings of the Season stamp set) in Mossy Meadow Classic Ink onto the lower part of the Basic White layer. Watch my 1 Minute to WOW video: The Magic of the Mini MISTI for a quick demonstration here.
Rub the Pecan Pie layer with an Embossing Buddy (Embossing Additions Tool Kit).
Use a Mini MISTI stamp tool to stamp the “MERRY” sentiment (Greetings of the Season stamp set) in Versamark Classic Ink (twice) onto the center of the Pecan Pie layer.
Cover the sentiment with white Basics WOW! Embossing Powder. Tap to remove the excess. Set with a Heat Tool.
Use the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) to crop both sentiments with the coordinating Greetings of the Season dies.
Use Paper Snips to snip the end of each side of the “MERRY”.
Tie a bow of Linen Thread through the hole on the left side of the sentiment.
Adhere the two sentiments together with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere the tag to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (doubled on the top, single on side touching the tree layer).
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish as shown with 3 Pecan Pie Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots.
PERFECT POLISH! Adhere the 5 3/4 x 2 1/2 Designer Series Paper to the Basic White Note Card envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Add glue to the flap.
