For a bold and modern contrast with the lavender floral die cuts (Painted Lavender Dies – one of My Favorite Things), I used Tahitian Tide. An Early Espresso layer below pairs beautifully for a rich and dramatic combination. Layers of white keep the look clean and add elegance, like fine stationery!
WHAT I LOVE! I’m a big fan of sentiments in beautiful fonts. The Stampin’ Up! Filled with Happiness Stamp Set (“Thanks”) uses a very hip, retro font which landed the stamp set on the list of My Favorite Things in the spring mini.
2 MINUTE TECHNIQUE TIP: I simply can’t stop using the Stampin’ Up! Basic Borders dies (secured in place with Post-It Note Tape) to dress up my envelope flaps. Takes coordination to a new level!
SO EASY! Adhere a 5 3/4 x 2 1/4 piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) to a Medium Envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. IMPORTANT: Add glue to the flap first, not the DSP. Center, line up, tape to secure (Post-It Tape) and crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) and your pick of the Basic Borders Dies.

CUT YOUR CARD STOCK – DIMENSIONS:
- Basic White Thick Card Stock:
- Card Base – 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
- Basic White Card Stock:
- Layers – 4 x 5 1/4 and 3 1/2 x 3 3/4
- Die-Cut Sentiment – 2 3/4 x 1 1/2 (before die-cutting)
- Early Espresso Card Stock:
- Layer – 3 1/4 x 3 1/2
- Tahitian Tide Card Stock:
- Die-Cut Stems – 2 x 5 (before die-cutting)
- In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper:
- Envelope Flap – 5 3/4 x 2 1/4
PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Begin by burnishing the fold of the Basic White Thick card base with a Bone Folder.
Adhere the 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White layer to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere the 3 1/4 x 3 1/2 Early Espresso layer to the 3 1/2 x 3 3/4 Basic White layer together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) to crop four Tahitian Tide stems with Painted Lavender dies.
Adhere together and to the card as shown with Mini Glue Dot.
Tie a bow of Tahitian Tide 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine and adhere to the stems with a Mini Glue Dot.
Use a Clear Block C to stamp the sentiment (Filled With Happiness Stamp Set) in Tahitian Tide Classic Ink onto the Basic White piece.
Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the Wild Ferns 2 1/4 x 1 stitched rectangle die.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with three white Classic Matte Dots as shown.
PERFECT POLISH! Adhere the 5 3/4 x 2 1/4 Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the Basic White Medium envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. IMPORTANT: Add glue to the flap first, not the DSP. Center, line up, tape to secure (Post-It Tape) and crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) and the Basic Borders curved edge die.
