If you are a details person like me, you’ll love the die cut “stitches” created with the Radiating Stitches Dies (heart and 2 rectangles), part of My Favorite Things . They make a WOW! Statement layered together with pretty ribbon and fun dots for the final touches!
2 MINUTE TECHNIQUE TIP! Fancy fringe! I slowly pulled a thread going the opposite direction on the Natural ribbon and it “revealed” the fringe!

CUT YOUR CARD STOCK – DIMENSIONS:
- Crumb Cake Card Stock:
- Card Base – 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
- Die-Cut Layer – 2 1/4 x 3 3/4 (before die-cutting)
- Basic White Card Stock:
- Layer – 4 x 5 1/4
- Die-Cut Layer – 3 x 4 1/2 (before die-cutting)
- Die-Cut Sentiment – Scraps
- Basic Black Card Stock:
- Die-Cut Heart – 2 x 1 1/2 (before die-cutting)
- Die-Cut Stem – Scraps
PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Begin by burnishing the fold of the Crumb Cake card base with a Bone Folder.
Adhere the Basic White layer to the card base as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere a 3 3/4 piece of Natural ribbon to the card as shown with a strip of Stampin’ Seal +.
On each side, slowly pull a thread going the opposite direction to reveal some fringe!
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) to crop the Basic White and Crumb Cake layers with the Radiating Stitches rectangle dies and the Basic Black with the Radiating Stitches heart die.
Adhere together and to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Tie a bow of Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon. Adhere as shown with a Mini Glue Dot.
Use a Clear Block C to stamp the sentiment (Charming Sentiments Stamp Set) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a scrap piece of Basic White card stock.
Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the coordinating Sentiment Silhouettes die.
Adhere as shown with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) to crop the Basic Black scrap with the stem from Christmas Classics dies (retiring and on sale).
Adhere to the card tucked behind the Crumb Cake die-cut with a Mini Glue Dot.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with a trio of white Classic Matte Dots.
