This charming heart framed birthday card got its styling from the Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets Dies. It perfectly frames the birthday sentiment from the coordinating Framed Florets Stamp Set.
WHAT I LOVE ! Trios of dots! One of my signature design elements is adding three embellishment dots to my cards. They always add that last layer of artful interest.

CUT YOUR CARD STOCK – DIMENSIONS:
- Basic White Thick Card Stock:
- Card Base – 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
- Basic White Card Stock:
- Stamped Layer – 3 3/4 x 5
- Night of Navy Card Stock:
- Layer – 4 x 5 1/4
- Die-cut Frame – 3 x 3 3/4 (before die-cutting)
- Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper:
- Die-cut Layer – 3 1/2 x 4 3/4
- Envelope Flap – 5 3/4 x 2 1/4
PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Begin by burnishing the fold of the Basic White Thick card base with a Bone Folder.
Adhere the Night of Navy layer to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Zip the Fancy Flora layer through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) with two Framed Florets dies (stitched frame tucked inside the heart frame).
Adhere to the Basic White Layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue as shown.
Use a Stamparatus to position and stamp the sentiment (Framed Florets Stamp Set) in Fresh Freesia Classic Ink onto the center of the Basic White and Fancy Flora layer.
Adhere the Night of Navy layer to a Foam Adhesive Sheet.
Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard)and the coordinating Framed Florets die.
Remove the adhesive backing and adhere as shown.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with three small Fresh Freesia 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds.
PERFECT POLISH! Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Designer Series Paper to the outside flap of a Basic White Medium Envelope. You can see my video demonstration with tips on adding designer paper to an envelope flap here.
