I needed layout inspiration for a card using with the Stampin’ Up! Trimming the Town Suite from the 2020 Mini Holiday Catalog. I took a peek at my Stampin’ Pretty Sketchbook and Sketch #2 was exactly what I was looking for.
TRIMMING THE TOWN SUITE COLLECTION
Capture the feel of a hometown holiday with the whimsical imagery and coordinating trimmings in the Trimming the Town Suite Collection.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:
To create the card, start with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base of Whisper White Thick card stock.
Adhere a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper with Stampin’ Seal.
Zip a 3 1/2 x 5 piece of Whisper White card stock through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine tucked inside the Winter Snow Embossing Folder.
Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere a 3 1/8 x 1 1/4 strip of Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper as shown with Stampin’ Seal.
Double wrap a piece of Old Olive Gold-Trimmed 1/8″ Satin Ribbon (All the Trimmings Ribbon) around all pieces, securing with a bow on the left-hand side.
Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a die-cutting machine to crop a piece of Whisper White card stock with the largest Stitched Shapes Circle Die.
Crop the house and trees from the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper with the coordinating Home Together Dies.
Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Cut the Happy Holidays Sentiment from the Trimming the Town Designer Series paper with a Paper Trimmer.
A POP OF PERSONALITY! Add a trio of Poppy Parade All The Trimming Embellishments as shown.
