Today’s Get Well Soon card uses 2 of the 6 limited release Coordination Products that are available through March 31, or while supplies last. You can see details on all 6 products via my blog page here. TIP: Change the sentiment and this card would be wonderful for Easter!
The Pleased as Punch 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper coordinates with FOUR of the punches from the 2020 Sale-A-Bration and Mini Catalogs! The coordinating punches are Small Bloom Punch # 152316, Heart Punch Pack #151292 (both part of My Favorite Things), Tulip Builder Punch #151295 (today’s card), and Umbrella Builder Punch #151293.
The Nature’s Thoughts Dies are a set of 11, with 4 of them cropping images from the Positive Thoughts stamp set available now from the 2020 Mini Catalog.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:
Begin with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base of Whisper White Thick card stock.
Adhere a 1 x 5 1/2 piece of Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper to the card base as shown with Snail Adhesive.
Zip a piece of Whisper White card stock that has been spritzed with water through a die-cutting and embossing machine tucked inside the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. Rotate 90 degrees and zip it through one more time, creating a canvas-like look.
TIP: Need help creating the correct sandwich for your embossing folders? Download this PDF where I share 5 embossing tips!
Crop the embossed piece of card stock using the rectangle die from Nature’s Thoughts Dies.
Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere a 4″ piece of Whisper White 5/8″ Flax Ribbon with Mini Glue Dots.
Use the Tulip Builder Punch to crop three tulips and two leaves from the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper.
Adhere together and to the card, as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Tie a bow of Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine. Adhere as shown with a Mini Glue Dot.
Use a Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment (Timeless Tulips Stamp Set) in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Granny Apple Green card stock that has been rubbed with an Embossing Buddy.
Cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, flick to remove the excess, and set with a Heat Tool.
Trim to 5/8 x 2 3/8 and flag the end with the Tailored Tag Punch.
Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Add three Highland Heather Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the card as shown.
THE PERFECT POLISH! Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a 2 1/4 x 5 3/4 piece of Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper to the outside flap of a Medium Whisper White Envelope.
Trim to size with Paper Snips. You can see my video demonstration with tips on adding designer paper to an envelope flap here.
