STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS:
Start with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base of Whisper White Thick card stock.
Crop a piece of Whisper White card stock using the second largest Rectangle Stitched Framelits Die and a Big Shot.
Crop three of the smallest, narrow Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies using the Big Shot and How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper (shown below).
Use the Stamparatus to line-up and stamp the tops of the candles in Gorgeous Grape ink. TIP: I used the “candles” to plan the spacing without adhering them. Adhere the candles below the candle tops with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals,
Use the Stamparatus to stamp the “Happy Birthday” sentiment in Gorgeous Grape Ink onto Whisper White card stock. Crop with the Big Shot and smallest, narrow Rectangle Stitched Die. Adhere a piece of Coastal Cabana/Granny Apple Green Reversible Ribbon to the backside with Snail Adhesive. Adhere to the card with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional placed on the far right side.
Add four Glitter Dots, which give a feel of confetti, as shown.
Adhere a 2 1/4 x 5 3/4 piece of How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper to the outside flap of a Medium Whisper White Envelope. Trim to size with Paper Snips.

REALLY LOVELY I LOVE THE COLORS
Thanks, Betty. You could easily flip the patterns (confetti candles and stripe on envelope), too.
I love this card, Mary! Such a great showcase of this paper and elements from the stamp set. So festive and fun!
It sure gave me a new outlook on the How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper. Thanks, BK.
Mary, I just love the clean simplicity of this card!
Thanks, Jan. I debated on keeping or removing the ribbon. It’s so beautiful (reversible) that I left it in as an element of interest.
A “winner” design for a fun birthday card. As usual, your coordination of elements is right on. Love this idea.
Thanks, Dorothy. I love how the Glitter Dots add pops of color and personality!
I love these festive creative calendars!
Candles!!! Not calendars!
Candles . . . but maybe possibilities with the patterns could be fun calendars, Linda!
I LOVE your twist on the candles, it’s genius. The colors are exciting and make this card a very happy and celebratory one. TFS.
Thanks for your confidence in me, Juanita!

The colors really stand out against white, Sandi.

Thanks so much, Shelly!
Darling idea Mary. Love the How Sweet It Is DSP. The colors are so bold and bright!
I wasn’t immediately enamored with the DSP but have grown to appreciate it’s playful colors and style.

Your candle idea is awesome; so cute! I will definitely be making your card. The best birthday design I’ve seen in a long time. Thank you so much.
That warms my heart that you are inspired to make the card, Janice!
I absolutely love the candles. I will definitely CASE this card. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Vicki. I love the candles in polka dots, too!
LOVE every single detail of this card my friend.
Thanks, Kadie. It was fabulous to get a little out of the box on the dies!
Great idea to use the small rectangle die to make the candles! That’s an idea I will use in the future. Thank you. 🙂 Marcee
My goal is to inspire new ways to be creative. Love hearing this, Marcee.
Love this idea! Very creative!
Thanks, Trisha. I like finding new ways to use dies and stamps. The bold candles make a statement.
Oh, Mary, this is an adorable card. I love the new ribbon and your creative candles. Love, love, love it! Enjoy your day!
Thanks, Hilda. I thought it was a fun way to use the long, skinny die!
Brilliant! The SU stitched rectangle framelits set is so much more versatile than the typical sets you see, with such a great assortment of sizes and widths. I love the candles you created with the small skinny die.
I agree . . . I love that one set of the rectangles is proportioned to the standard A2 (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) card and the others are more unique.
Mary, what a fun and fabulous birthday card, love the beautiful pop of color of the candles and enamel dots. The ribbon looks perfect right there by the birthday greeting.
Love this card.
XO
Many other patterns in the How Sweet It IS designer series paper look just as good!
