Inspired by Color Congrats Card & CASE

Create a simple congrats card using Stampin Up Bouquet Blooms stamp set & Gatefold Blossoms Dies - Mary Fish StampinUp Idea

It doesn’t get any simpler on a Saturday to create a card which is a CASE (Copy And Share with Everyone) of a Stampin’ Up! sample (below).

I loved this design using the Bouquet Blooms photopolymer stamp set and Gatefold Blossoms Framelites Dies.  Available now.  SAVE 10% when you purchase them as a bundle.  For a splashy new look, I used my “inspired by color” palette below.  For oodles of Stampin’ Up! color combination ideas based on fashion and home decor, please visit (and follow) my Inspired By Color Board on Pinterest.

MY STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:

Create a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base with Stampin’ Up! Thick Whisper White card stock and the Stampin’ Trimmer.  Layer and adhere a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Basic Black using Snail Adhesive.

Stamp largest floral image  from Bouquet Blooms photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a 3 3/4 x 5 piece of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the image in two directions (it overlaps but is hidden below the circle) to get the same flowers top and bottom but feel free to play with this.

Heat emboss the floral image with a heat tool and Stampin’ Up! Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  Adhere layer to card base with Snail Adhesive.

Adhere an approximately 7″ piece of Poppy Parade 1/2″ Textured Weave Ribbon (available Sept. 5) to card base, folding over as shown.

Stamp circle design from Bouquet Blooms stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on Whisper White card stock.  Crop with the largest die from Layering Circles Framelits Dies, the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine and the Magnetic Platform to help keep the die in place over the image.

Stamp 8-petal flower twice in Mango Melody ink on Whisper White card stock.  Crop with the coordinating die from Gatefold Blossoms Framelits Dies.

Stamp “rose” twice in Poppy Parade ink on Poppy Parade card stock.  Crop with the coordinating die from Gatefold Blossoms Framelits Dies.  Adhere flowers to circle as shown using Snail Adhesive.  The Mango Melody flower on the left is popped up on a Stampin’ Dimensional.

Add a cluster of three silver pearls from Stampin’ Up! Metallic Pearls (self-adhesive) to the center of each Mango Melody flower.

Crop “congrats” using Poppy Parade card stock, the “congrats” die from Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies and the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine.  Adhere to circle as shown.

Stamp “friend” from Bouquet Blooms stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Whisper White card stock.  Trim to approximately 1 3/8 x 1/2 and crop right side “flag” using the Tailored Tag Punch.  Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To get crisp, solid images, I used the Stampin’ Up! Stamparatus stamp positioning tool for ALL stamping above.   Learn more about the benefits of the Stamparatus here.
