STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:

Using a Stampin’ Trimmer, cut and score a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base in Thick Whisper White.  Adhere a 4 1/4 x 2 1/2 piece of Real Red card stock as shown.

Carefully cut the leaf design from the Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Adhere to a 3 5/8 x 5 3/16 piece of Basic Black card stock.  You may need to adjust the size depending on the size you cut the laser paper.  TIP:  I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue and a Paper Piercing tool to lightly dab adhesive on the backs of the corners and approximately a dozen random leaves of the detailed pattern.

Using the Big Shot, Magnetic Platform and a circle die from the Stampin’ Up! Layering Circles Framelits Dies, crop the sentiment.  Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

  1. Gorgeous card!

Quick question – I didn’t get the cherry cobbler and a couple other colors of the Stampin Blends previously. Can I order them now to use now and then await the new colors when they are available? I loved my pink colors so much they are almost used up. I know that they discontinued it for the new batch – should I try ordering to see if they have any left?

    • All the current (previously released colors) are available to order now. Pink Pirouette is retiring and only available while supplies last. Hoping the new catalog colors will be available in mid-June.

  2. Very striking card and the font is different from what we have had in the past.. The laser cut paper looks so elegant.

    • Thanks, Dorothy. I wasn’t sure at first about the “gothic” style font. However, it has a unique level of sophistication that looks lovely on a simple card!

  3. GORGEOUS! I love that pop of red on the flower and the band on the base of the card. Such a great project! <3

    • Thanks, Brian. I think the red card stock behind helps to proportion the detailed rectangle!

    • They are delicate, Kadie. Be sure to keep the tissues they come with in between so they don’t tangle!

  4. What a GORGEOUS looking birthday card my friend. Can’t wait to play with those Detailed Laser Cut DSP pieces. THANKS for sharing.

  5. The laser cut DSP makes a beautiful background for the lovely rose and the painted glass sentiment, Mary. It makes a very pretty card with the strip of Real Red. Have a wonderful day!

  6. Oh MsMary, that’s a over the PARK WOW CARD , so BEAUITFUL, I love that rose ?, thank you for sharing, YOUR SUCH AN INSPIRATION TO US ALL, that’s why we love you so much, thank you ?
    Hugs Frenchie ♥️
