Today’s card is a “lovely” example of color blocking with three NEW core colors and one returning Stampin’ Up! In Color. Get the full scoop on the Stampin’ Up! Color Revamp here. In addition to new colors, I’m sharing a sneak peek of the Stitched All Around Stamp Set & Stitched Labels Framelits Dies! New colors and new products are available for purchase June 1.
From top left of the squares and clockwise: Gorgeous Grape (new), Coastal Cabana (a returning In Color), Highland Heather (new) and Granny Apple Green (new). Here’s how they compare to other colors in the Stampin’ Up! core color collections. Coastal Cabana is in the same row as the NEW Balmy Blue. See ALL new color comparisons here.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:
Create a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base using Thick Whisper White card stock and the Stampin’ Trimmer to cut and score.

Adhere a 3 3/4 x 5 piece of Whisper White card stock with Stampin’ Dimensionals to card base.
Crop four squares using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies, Big Shot and card stock in Gorgeous Grape, Coastal Cabana, Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green. Space evenly and adhere with Snail Adhesive as shown.
Crop four hearts in the colors above and four Basic Black circles using the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies. Adhere the hearts with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the circles. Adhere circles to the center of the squares with Snail Adhesive. TIP: You can crop the heart (centered) and square at the same time. The black circle will cover the negative space from the heart.

Stamp “lovely” (Stitched All Around Stamp Set) in Basic Black Archival Ink on Whisper White card stock. Crop with the label die from Stitched Labels Framelits Dies, the Big Shot and the Magnetic Platform (to keep the die in place over the “lovely” sentiment).

Add a dot, centered and on the inside of the stitching, to the back of the label on each end. Use the dot to place a hole with the 1/16″ Handheld Circle Punch (retiring and 30% off here). Run Basic Black Solid Baker’s Twine through the holes, wrap the card twice and secure with a bow. I added a couple Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the tag for a 3-D effect.

Thanks, Laurie. Your feedback means the world!
This is a wonderful color combination. The card looks simple, classic and elegant, I also like that it can be used for a masculine card in these or other colors. TFS!
Great idea, Juanita . . . I think it would look lovely in neutrals, perhaps with a single pop of color!
Such a fun way to showcase some of these new colors. They look wonderful together! <3
