The Bishop’s Wife
It has to be “It’s a Wonderful Life” first, but I do have my must watch list. Mostly all old movies, White Christmas, Christmas in Connecticut, Meet Me in St. Lois & A Christmas Carol. But you just have to have some silly ones too like A Christmas Story & Christmas Vacation.
A Royal Christmas by Hallmark
My favorite holiday movie is Miracle on 34th Street. Thanks for another year of inspiring us, Mary. You are truly a huge star in our world of card building. Have a beautiful Christmas and best wishes for a wonderful new year.
My favorite Christmas movie is Die Hard. It isn’t Christmas until Hans Grueber falls off the Nakatomi plaza!
I don’t know how I’ve missed it but I’ve never seen Love Actually! With such a great recommendation, I’ll have to put it on my list. 🙂 I love White Christmas and It’s a Wonderful Life, the Christmas scenes in Meet Me in St. Louis… And the season starts with Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer with Burl Ives. My second is It’s a wonderful life
Miracle on 34th Street (old and newer versions) is probably my favorite, but I also love Loretta Young’s Come to the Stable from 1949. I also have a very special place in my heart for what I believe is a Rankin & Bass stop-animation movie that makes me cry every year – and I have been watching it for a very long time – Nestor, the Long-Earred Christmas Donkey. I actually bought it last year so I no longer had to hope that some station would air it. Thank you for an opportunity to win this beautiful stamp. I was not impressed until I saw various stamped versions – yours included – to find that it is truly magnificent. I love the color you used. Merry Christmas.

And finally, I have added “Love Actually” to my list of favs. I’m a sucker for Hugh Grant.
So many to choose from, but would also say, Wonderful Life. My husband and I had to sell our cherished home to move out of state for employment this summer. I left behind the words of Mary and George in a basket with a bottle of wine, loaf of bread, and salt.
