Grab your wish list (or print one here) and jot down Cat Punch (#144666). You’ll love it! For today’s card, my black kitty was cropped with the Cat Punch from a coordinating pattern in the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper collection. Both the punch and designer series paper will be available Sept. 1, when the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog begins.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- See the pattern (below) where I punched the cat? I paper snipped the polka dot hat from the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper, too! The hat is dotted with one of the Black Rhinestone Jewels that will be available in the Holiday Catalog on Sept. 1!
- The “trick or treat” sentiment is from Spooky Cat Photopolymer Stamp Set. Save 10% when you purchase the Spooky Cat Stamp Set as a bundle with the Cat Punch.
Spooky Cat Bundle #146014 – Images © Stampin’ Up! - I cropped the sentiment with a die from Cupcake Cutouts Framelits Dies. I adore how it crops and scores to give a fun, folded “boost.”
- More Bling, Please! Black Rhinestone Jewels dot the sentiment and Black Mini Sequin Trim creates an accent and movement below.
- The final touch is Linen Thread to dress up kitty and to tie in the Crumb Cake card base (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″).

Hiya how did you get the writing cat round the right way when you punched it out?
Hi Lucy,
Thank you for your email, happy to help!
I think, if I understand you correctly, you should be able to line up the cat punch with the written cat image if you flip the punch upside down and look at the bottom of the punch while you punch it. Does that make sense?
Please let me know if I can assist you further.
Happy to help, Ginny. I used the cat punch on the Spooky Night designer series paper vs. the coordinating stamp image.
Love it!! How did you get the white edge around the cat punch please out please?
Thanks, Maria. Meow!
Omg Mary this is an adorable, awesome cat that card is beautiful and thank you so much ? for the idea you said is simple but I said is a very elegant card . Perfect for the occasion I love it ?
Such a fun card, Mary! I love the hat on the cat and the banner at the base. So many great, new products on this sweet-and-simple card! You are incredible!
That warms my heart, BK. Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment!
You can use Black CS or DSP for Halloween CAT, I think lots of possibilities. Sometimes we have to think out of the box which I do not always do, but if you look on Pinterest and type in Cat punch they will show you lots of possibilities.

Thanks for the tips, Diana. I created a “friend” cat card for tomorrow. Stay tuned!
Very cute punch. Ur card is adorable. I just wish they made more stamp sets u could buy to cordinate with their punches. I would love some 2 step stamp sets with cordinating punches. Just sayin’. 🙂
I always appreciate feedback and will pass your thoughts along. There are loads of stamps and coordinating dies/punches in the holiday catalog!
My best buddy is my kitty cat, so this is very tempting. Your card is adorable and so fitting for a black beauty.
MEEEEOW my friend! The little witches hat just finishes this little darling off.
Now this sure is the “CAT’S MEOW” I might not be a professional “future reader” but if I had a magic ball…I would say that this CAT is going to be getting its exercise and FLYING OUT THE DOOR come Sept 1st!!!! Super card, Mary style!
