For today’s simple & pretty sympathy card, I’m using another gorgeous image and sentiment from the Beautiful You Photopolymer Stamp Set.  Beautiful You will be available Jan. 4 when the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog begins.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • Making waves!  A piece of By the Shore Designer Series Paper creates a soft wave of blue layers for the background.  What could be easier!

  • Create Perfect Circles & Save 50%!  The sentiment (both the scalloped and circle layers) was cropped using the Layering Circles Framelits Dies.  These are an everyday essential for my paper crafting and they are currently 50% off during the Stampin’ Up! Year-End Closeout & Sale.
  • A single Dapper Denim heart from the 2016-2018 In Color Enamel Shapes “dots” the sentiment with love and personality.

  • A bold, coordinating stripe from By the Shore Designer Series Paper gives the envelope flap polish.  Watch my video here with tips on how to snip an envelope flap!

  1. So simple, yet so beautiful! Thank you for all the great cards you make! You inspire me to make beautiful cards like you!

  2. I am so excited to see this stamp set. Two of my all time favorite sets have been “Sketches” and “Seaside Sketches” I have used them so many times! This is like a new version. Your card is so pretty.

  3. Love this card SO much! It’s just simply gorgeous. One of my all time favorite MARY FISH cards!

  4. Love this card!!! So simple and elegant! How do you do the background of the different blues? Could you do a video demo on it? Would be very grateful!!! It’s a techinique you can use time and again.

    • No technique needed, Chrystyna. It’s designer series paper (By the Shore). I just stamped on top of the pattern. Thank you for your sweet words!

  5. This serene card is simply stunning, Mary! Can’t wait until my stamp set comes in. Hugs!

  6. SUCH a gorgeous card, Mary! The blues in this panel of Designer Series Paper are gorgeous – I love how you stamped her right on top of this paper. Such a special and sweet card.

  7. I love this card. I am confused is the stamp set photopolymer or wood and clear? I made a decision to only order the photopolymer as they work the best and take the least amount of space. I really wish SU would offer on all it really impacts my decision to purchase.
    The card is fabulous

    • I like photopolymer best as well, Cyndi, and wish every stamp set had that option. However, Beautiful You only comes in wood-mount or clear-mount. I’m assuming it’s because the red rubber of wood and clear-mount can get a little better coverage on solid images (like the swipes of “watercoloring.” In any event, I’ll pass along your feedback to Stampin’ Up!

  8. You have simply created the perfect sympathy card using this set. Well Done My Friend!

  9. Mary, a beautiful card for such a sad occasion. Stunning and so meaningful, says it all. Perfect.
    🙂

  10. That is the sweetest card I have ever seen! Definitely going to get that stamp set!
