I love this idea for washi tape storage and organization. I originally purchased these cubbies (30 openings) as Blendabilities Marker storage from Stamp-n-Storage. When Blendabilities were discontinued earlier this year, I was determined to find an alternate use and was delighted to discover that all my Stampin’ Up! washi tape fits. Easy to view and within reach–just the way I like it. You can purchase this storage unit through Stamp-n-Storage using my affiliate link HERE.
I spoke to Brett at Stamp-n-Storage about how I wanted to use the unit for washi tape and he quickly whipped up spacers that you insert at the back of the cubbies to keep the washi tape from going too deep. Thank you, Brett! You can purchase the spacers for the Blendabilities Marker storage (now my washi tape storage) using my affiliate link here.

Your room is just awesome. That took some careful planning. Your room is much like my kitchen only mine it’s on a larger scale. Each cabinet, drawer and display cabinet all mapped out for a certain item. That in it’s self was a grand craft project. I’m getting ready to design a new sewing space which my husband and I share. Looking at your room has given me some great ideas. I’d love to see a view of each side of your craft room. Thanks for sharing your master piece.
Thanks, Julie. I planned my kitchen the same way . . . every inch has a purpose and is logical in terms of use. Best luck to your sewing room! I LOVE good organization. I moved my craft space into my sunroom (more light, better view). The space you saw in the video functions beautifully as a backup butler’s pantry and wine storage room. I plan to share a reveal in the future.
Hi Mary…I just love all the ideas that come from your craft room. Great job
on all the organizational ideas. Thx so much for sharing all your wealth of
information :~) !
I appreciate your comments, Katy, in return!
Mary, I love my ink pad, marker and reinkers combo! I also have the marker holder and I’m currently using it for miscellaneous items. I have not painted mine but seeing yours painted motivates me to do the same. Can I ask what kind of pain t is best for this type of wood? Thank you for sharing.

STAMPIN’ UP DEMONSTRATOR
Hi Chris. I was painting other parts of my home and had my painter paint my Stamp-n-Storage units. He used an oil based paint from Sherwin Williams and sprayed them. Be sure to pull the shelves out a bit, but not all the way out or you may not be able to put them in. Also, if you paint with the shelves in, plan on leaving them where they are (one of the downsides but I’m fine with it). M
Glad today’s tip for storing washi tape as helpful!
Thanks, Frenchie. You are such a good friend and support! I hope you get your dream craft room one day.
Love your idea for the washi tape storage Mary. I am a big fan of the Stamp n Storage products and now I have ordered the Blendabilities storage and the spacers for the wash tape and the punches. Like your photo showing the blender pens and aqua painters. Ideal!! Thanks so much.
MsMary, I love love your room, my oldest daughter always tells me if she ever wins the lottery, that’s the first thing she’s going to do for me , fingers cross , lol,
Thanks for sharing, I never get tired of seeing your beautiful room, and I love that idea of your wasi tape,
Hugs Frenchie ,
Are the spacers now sold separately for others to buy online for everyone? That is a great idea for storing Washi Tape!
Absolutely. I have a link at the end of the second paragraph that takes you to the spacers for purchase.
Thank you! I missed that one. :-/
THANKS Mary for sharing this tip with us. GREAT WAY to re-purpose the Blendabilities Marker storage from Stamp-n-Storage to work with your Washi Tape. LOVE IT!
Thanks, Miss Kadie!
The people at Stamp-n-Storage really listen to their customers! It is so awesome to have storage that custom fits our Stampin Up products:)
I agree, Trish. I’m thrilled with the quality and precise organization for Stampin’ Up! products.
Thanks, Maria. I find it very convenient. I can’t recommend enough how important it is to order the little spacers to keep the washi tape from moving too deep (and a pain to get back out).
Fabulous way to repurpose this awesome storage unit, Mary.
